The author notes that the genre of Chinese ballet has undergone signifi cant changes in its relatively short history. Currently, there is a tendency to rethink classical works of opera and cinema in the choreographic aspect. Taneyev from an early age. The composer’s short but succinct handwritten text, presented in the article, highlights one of the aspects of this interest associated with the search for a constructive basis – the original structure in the polyphonic works of J. S. Bach. Contrapuntal texture grows from these fragments, and they also serve as an impetus for the creation of a certain polyphonic form. The six-voice canon discovered by young Taneyev, which explains all the strettos in the fi rst fugue of the Well-Tempered Clavier, remained a relevant argument for mature Taneyev – a scientist and composer – in a professional dispute with S. Membership in these associations provides many opportunities for provincial artists, as they are focused on their support and promotion. His accordion art is based on traditional musical culture. Using rich national and folklore music as a creative material, combined with Western compositional techniques, he carried out bold research in the fi eld of harmony, compositional structure and performance technique, thereby fi lling his works with a vibrant national style and modern atmosphere. Li Yuqiu’s accordion works span a wide range of genres, including sonatas, fugues, suites, solo compositions, concertos, and ensembles. They are valuable material for studying the way of nationalisation of accordion music in China. In 1918, there was still no full-fl edged centralised ideological work in the Baltic until the appearance of the political departments of the Baltic Fleet in February 1919. Therefore, at that time, this task was partially performed by the SCBF. The article describes the general reasons and conditions for the creation of the SCBF in the context of the political situation in the Baltic Fleet in the spring of 1918. It also analyses the goals and objectives set by the SCBF in the framework of political work with the fl eet personnel and the results of the political activity itself. The heyday of his work was in the 1930s, when a large-scale anti-Japanese anti-imperialist struggle took place in China. Nie Er, an active supporter of national salvation, translated national liberation ideas and the spirit of struggle into mass patriotic and lyrical songs. This also applies to songs dedicated to the fate of Chinese women. From simple peasants to educated teachers, the women in Er’s songs, even suffering from injustice and oppression, nevertheless fi nd strength to fi ght for freedom and a better future. Rubinstein’s opera “The Tower of Babel” (1869) has not received any detailed discussion in musicology. The conclusions of the analysis made in this article are compared with the key provisions of Rubinstein’s letter (1882) devoted to the characteristic features of the genre of “sacred opera”. The analysis of the dramaturgy of “The Tower of Babel” opera is based on the structure of the opera as a whole, the work with the biblical plot, the confl ict of the main characters, the genre spectrum of their statements, and the signifi cance of the choral scenes and numbers. The specifi c imagery of the opera’s scenes is formed through the interaction of the main characters and choruses of different characters — human, angel and demon, while the musical characterisation of the philosophically generalised main characters — Nimrod and Abraham — forms a separate confl ict line of development.
