First, this paper looks into the direct relation between SMU and depression, finding a strong positive correlation that is backed by previous studies on different types of samples. Second, the paper explores mediating roles such as self-esteem, feelings of self-worth, and experiences of social support, revealing how these influencing factors impact the mechanism between SMU and depression. Finally, the present study discusses the duplicity of the impact of SMU. This expands the study's understanding of SMU and emphasises the stress-relieving effects of social media use to some extent. This study proposes to conduct more in-depth studies on the influence mechanism of social media in future studies. Longitudinal studies and laboratory studies can be used to try to detect the causal relationship between SMU and psychological well-being.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"13 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140243832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, a psychopath is not the same as a sociopath. They are not official diagnoses. Instead, they both describe aspects of the same condition: ASPD. A psychopath has emotional deficits and psychopathic describes a chronic condition in which the violent behavior or abnormal behavior a person might suffer from and can lead to criminal behavior or illegal things that are against societys norms; a sociopath is antisocial and breaks rules and sociopathic is ASPD, which is classified when a person may tend to overlook the right and wrong or sometimes feelings of others or can treat others harshly and have no guilt under mental disorders. Research have constantly associated ASPD with crime, and yet experiments and studies cannot ensure that people with ASPD are most likely to commit crimes absolutely. Thus, to learn ASPD better, understanding the mindsets of people with ASPD is the key. This review dives into the morality and ethics of ASPD through various references. The present study looked at ASPD with novel perspectives. With the combination of research, this paper then compare, contrast and conclude the ideas from the references. In the discussion, the study try to challenge some traditional ideas about ASPD and also conclude the limitations of the present study.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"16 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140244020","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper analyzes the impact of innovative pedagogy and teachers' teaching practices on the teaching effectiveness of higher education. This paper argues that innovative pedagogy in the context of new technology makes up for the problem of the solidification of the classroom mode in traditional teaching to a certain extent. However, there are still problems such as the difference in digital resources and the lack of communication between teachers and students in practical teaching. Based on this, this paper puts forward the following suggestions. This paper argues that educators need to adapt to the changes of the times and innovate teaching methods to cope with this change. In the new model, teachers need to improve their digital literacy. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to students' feelings in digital teaching practice and improve students' learning efficiency.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"18 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140244370","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Despite this, opposition forces persisted against her within the court and the country. In response, Wu Zetian initiated a series of political and cultural reforms to further solidify her personal authority. One of these reforms was the WuZhou New Characters, introduced during her reign. The primary objective of this study is to investigate the main reasons for the emergence and demise of the new characters during the WuZhou period (690-705). Through the analysis of physical objects and historical documents and by referencing the results of previous studies, this research reveals the close connection between the WuZhou New Characters and the political situation of the time. To a certain extent, it also highlights the social and cultural changes that occurred. While Wu Zetian was alive, the new characters began to play a role alongside her authority. However, with Wu Zetian's death and the decline of the political power she represented, the new characters eventually faded away. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the political system and cultural evolution of the Tang Dynasty, providing new perspectives and references for research in the field of Chinese historiography.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140241461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the current reality of the coexistence of the US and China in East Asia, this paper analyses their competition and implications in the Asia-Pacific region. The main argument of this paper is that with the implementation of Americas Pivot strategy, China and the US have launched fierce competition around the dominance of the Asia-Pacific region, and this game not only affects the economic development itself but also affects the stability and prosperity of the entire Asia-Pacific region. This paper advocates that all parties should enhance cooperation and find common ground to prevent unnecessary conflicts, to maintain peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"36 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

His introduction of the symbolic system and linguistic signs later triggered a wave of structuralism in academia and had a profound impact on the early works of Jacques Lacan. Saussure believed in the primacy of the signified, that is, the concept having precedence over the signifier, a notion contested by psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan. This paper offers an in-depth interpretation of Lacans example, highlighting the primacy of the signifier within the sign system and refuting Saussures view of the primacy of the signified. Lacan revised and corrected Saussures concepts of the signifier and signified, noting that the concept is merely the effect of differentially related symbols. Building on this, the paper further details the perspectives of structuralism and attempts to reveal the origin and synchronic characteristics of the symbolic system from a philosophical viewpoint. Additionally, the paper discusses Lacans concept of the master signifier, underscoring its significance in the critique of ideology.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"7 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Music education plays an important role in realizing the all-round development of students' morality, intelligence, physical fitness, art and labor. However, in the past, people's understanding of music education was limited to traditional teaching, which led to problems such as incomplete transformation of music models, single teaching content, and disconnection between home and school. This paper studies and considers these issues and puts forward the following suggestions. This paper argues that schools should conform to the \"new liberal arts\" education concept and integrate music education and new liberal arts construction. At the same time, teachers should pay attention to establishing a multicultural education concept, innovating teaching models, and enhancing students' interest in learning Xi. At the same time, they have created conditions for the rebirth and return of some long-dormant ancient Chinese characters, and \"Jiong ()\" is one of them. Previous researchers have made some progress in the evolution of the semantic meaning of \"Jiong\" from ancient times to the Internet era and have obtained a relatively clear timeline. However, there is still a certain research gap in the academic circle on the specific pragmatic use of \"Jiong\" in the Internet era and how its pragmatic use is affected by a variety of factors in the Internet era. Therefore, from the perspective of pragmatics, this study first analyzes the usages of \"Jiong\" in different contexts with specific examples and then uses data statistics and theoretical analysis to finally find that the pragmatics of \"Jiong\" are influenced by the network context, the homophone \"embarrassment ()\", the Chinese pinyin of which is also \"Jiong\", and the mass media.","PeriodicalId":474531,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes in Education Psychology and Public Media","volume":"90 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140242588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
