However, at the same time, teachers have not maximized analytical thinking supplements in learning and mastering student movements to optimize their physical education learning outcomes. This research used quantitative methods to examine the effect of analytical thinking skills on student learning outcomes. The participants were 24 elementary school students (mean age = 10.17+0.38) who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data on thinking skills were collected using instruments and rubrics for assessing analytical thinking skills. While the learning outcomes data use the final value of physical education learning. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. Descriptive analysis showed that students' analytical thinking skills were moderate (58.34%), and learning outcomes were good (100%). There is a significant influence between analytical thinking skills on student learning outcomes (t = 2.312, α = 0.031) with a determination value of 19.6%. Considering the essence of analytical thinking skills for learning outcomes and supporting students' life skills, the orientation of physical education learning outcomes parameters and the comprehensive and sustainable integration of analytical thinking into students' physical activities must be discussed further.","PeriodicalId":473532,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Keolahragaan","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Motor competence stimulation focus on measuring the physical activity of playing games. The study investigated the potential improvement of motor skill by playing net games. Through the study, students are taught to make important decisions and acquire tactical knowledge by simplifying complex games. This research adopted an experimental design using One Group pretest-posttest method. Samples were collected through random sampling method in two classes of a selected elementary school. The Games Performance Assessment Instrument (GPAI) and the Gross Motor Development Test version 2 (TGMD-2) were used to assess students' playing understanding, motor skills, and numeric knowledge. Utilizing quantitative descriptive analysis, data were examined. The findings showed that the posttest values for motor skill aspects (95) were greater than the pretest results (88, 5). The average increase of each component for playing game was execution skill of 0.05, decision-making of 0.04, opponent coverage of 0.03, and overall of 0.05. Different test results show that t-test (t=4.50), both for game understanding and motor skill aspects, which were greater than t-tables (1,796). The statistics showed that the skills after treatment were significantly different from the students’ ability before treatment. This improvement in decision-making, technical execution, cover, support, game performance, game participation, pleasure, perceived competence, and intention to engage in physical activity is attributable to the usage of net games. The conclusion is that the use of net games is effective in improving the motor competence of elementary school students. However, the study only involves a small number of students, hence it is recommended for including a larger number of students in the further research, as well as using more rigid study design (control group) and take in different elementary schools.","PeriodicalId":473532,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Keolahragaan","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132193","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses an approach method with two data collection techniques which include: Interviews with ASIFA coaches, and participant observations at ASIFA football coaching. The data analysis technique combines interactive analysis models and the theory of instructional communication. The results of this study showed that the role of coaches at ASIFA in the instructional communication framework can be classified into two types, namely: 1) Coach as communicators-instructors; and 2) Coach as communicator-facilitator. The difference in type has implications for the communication approach used by the coaches, which is mapped into a rhetorical approach and a relational approach. However, the type of coaches and the communication approach used by the coaches has a relationship with the coaching context that occurs. This research contributes to the formulation of an instructional communication quadrant model that can be carried out by coaches in youth football coaching.","PeriodicalId":473532,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Keolahragaan","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135132185","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
