Dentro dessas transformações, destaca-se um importante segmento econômico: o turismo. Tal transformação foi provocada pelas limitações de mobilidade ocorridas em todo o planeta. Diante disso, a sociedade passou a viver novas experiências “turísticas” em ambientes virtuais, o que nos levou a realizar este projeto, que teve como proposta metodológica a realização do procedimento Ágil Scrum, comumente adotado pelas engenharias, além da observação participante e da pesquisa bibliográfica. O resultado foi a conclusão de uma pesquisa aplicada, que envolve procedimentos teóricos e práticos que ressignificam a fotografia de viagem na nova ecologia dos meios.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-03-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140246861","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recientemente, el uso del teléfono móvil y la aparición de redes sociales como Instagram y TikTok han provocado que se visualicen con asiduidad vídeos en formato vertical, hasta el punto de normalizar y estandarizar su consumo. Siendo común su empleo con fines comerciales y publicitarios, este hecho ha motivado el surgimiento de obras de ficción en formato vertical. Independientemente de su duración, características técnicas, diseño de producción y explotación comercial, esta tendencia se comienza a establecer en el mercado audiovisual. El presente estudio pretende analizar cómo se adaptan las producciones de ficción al formato vertical, basándose en la línea audiovisual trazada por las producciones de Snap Originals. La investigación tiene como objetivo responder a cuestiones como la definición de los Snap Originals como producciones de ficción en formato vertical y definir la estructura narrativa y el lenguaje audiovisual empleado en este tipo de contenidos, con sus características principales.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-02-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140428397","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through ethnographic methods, such as participant observations and interviews among a group of working-class US Latinas in central Texas, this work aims to explore why digital inclusion programs should go beyond the first and second levels of the digital divide. Our findings show that this group of women faced unique barriers to digital inclusion, such as skills, time, perceived self-exclusion, and self-doubt. Even when Internet access, devices, and knowledge existed in their homes, they felt they lacked the abilities to access them, thus reflecting complex gendered family dynamics. A two-year ethnography with a non-profit serving the youth and parents of their neighborhood revealed that even this organization had trouble recognizing multiple, interconnected issues arising from gender, household roles, and age on top of the other categories of issues faced by working-class Latino immigrants in a large urban enclave. However, intersectional analysis by the lead author, when working for the non-profit, enabled her to better see and make decisions to serve these women’s needs for digital inclusion and parent education.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-02-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139957995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Launched in May 2022, the campaign—carried out in partnership with Mídia Ninja, the National Student Union (União Nacional dos Estudantes, UNE), and the Brazilian Union of Secondary School Students (União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas, UBES)—brought together more than 100 pop culture fandoms in Brazil to mobilize 16- to 18-year-olds to obtain a voter registration card and be eligible to vote in the 2022 elections. It can be concluded that the activism of fandoms goes beyond transposing fan culture practices into the realm of political participation, also encompassing the critical interpretation of the sociopolitical issues that were part of the action and the creative production of posts on Twitter. Accordingly, #FandomsPeloVoto has aspects of political resistance, as one of its primary objectives is the removal of President Jair Bolsonaro, leader of the far right in Brazil, from power.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139863511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El trabajo reconstruye el papel que ha tenido la reflexión sobre esta temática en los estudios de comunicación y detecta un conjunto de énfasis en la literatura que le restan potencial crítico, en especial su sesgo individualista y su descuido de los determinantes estructurales y de las interacciones entre tecnologías, socialidad y medioambiente. Partiendo de una revisión crítica de las principales monografías, ensayos y análisis empíricos publicados hasta la fecha (2010-2023), se localiza un conjunto de discusiones emergentes y se apuesta por reconducir el campo reforzando los ideales de transformación ecosocial que lo guiaron en sus inicios.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2024-01-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139532134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Do ponto de vista da Medicina e da Biologia, é conhecida a resposta à pandemia, que viria a ser decisiva para o combate ao vírus, no entanto pouco se sabe sobre as preocupações que ocuparam os investigadores das Ciências da Comunicação, num momento no qual era necessário comunicar mensagens de risco à população. A partir de uma amostra das 20 revistas com maior fator de impacto no índice Scopus, procurámos caracterizar a investigação que cruzou a pandemia com a comunicação, no primeiro ano dessa crise (março 2020-março 2021). The study followed a quantitative approach and conducted a survey based on the Communications and Sustainability Convergence Model. The survey was administered to 96 executives in the three countries, who were asked to rate their practices in these two dimensions. Notwithstanding the limitations associated with survey respondents self-evaluating their practices, we found that most of the companies surveyed categorize their communications and sustainability management as more strategic than tactical and that their practices fit within a scenario known as the Common Good, which aims at creating a triple social, economic and environmental value. However, conceptual differences emerge when understanding sustainability and where it should be focused within the organization. Further research is recommended to help achieve a consensus on the concept of sustainability and how it can be implemented through communications initiatives that benefit both organizations and the communities in which they operate.","PeriodicalId":45002,"journal":{"name":"Palabra Clave","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135902572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
