The whole educational process is aimed at proposing to the player learning environments that allow him to become an autonomous player (responsible for his educational, sporting and personal process) who understands the game (able to make decisions after analyzing the changing environment) and has values that allow him to become an upstanding person committed to society. This article details the training process followed by technicians and players to develop a goal setting program as a basis for improving autonomy, understanding of the game and acquisition of values in the players. The results of the evaluation suggest a good satisfaction with the overall program, the value of the technique, and motivation to continue to apply it. Reyes, Amador Blas","doi":"10.1400/218736","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1400/218736","url":null,"abstract":"El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar el entrenamiento psicologico realizado con una regatista para la preparacion de la fase de clasificacion para los Juegos Olimpicos de Londres 2012, y analizar la percepcion de mejora psicologica por parte de la regatista y su valoracion del entrenamiento realizado. El entrenamiento psicologico se desarrollo durante seis meses, incluyendo tres apartados: evaluacion inicial, entrenamiento y evaluacion final. En la evaluacion psicologica inicial se determinaron los puntos fuertes y debiles del funcionamiento psicologico de la deportista y se establecieron objetivos a conseguir. El entrenamiento psicologico se centro en el aprendizaje de la tecnica de establecimiento de objetivos para la competicion, elaboracion del plan de competicion y el registro del estilo cognitivo durante la competicion. En la evaluacion psicologica final se valoro el progreso de la deportista y la valoracion de esta respecto del programa. Girls had moderately higher levels of perceived competence, and there were no significant differences between age-groups. The figure for task-orientation was higher than ego-orientation. Girls expressed a positive attitude toward school and PE. Most girls did not practiced PA outside school, but 63,9% were involved in school sports. It seems that the military educational institutions are being successful in helping students to adopt physically active lifestyles. Portolés","doi":"10.1400/218735","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1400/218735","url":null,"abstract":"RESUMEN: El descenso de los niveles de practica fisico-deportiva, asi como el aumento del consumo de sustancias saludablemente nocivas repercuten de forma muy negativa en los adolescentes, ademas de influir en factores como el rendimiento y la motivacion orientados al ambito academico. El estudio presenta una muestra de 421 adolescentes de ESO y Bachillerato de la ciudad de Cartagena (Murcia, Espana). Se utilizaron cuestionarios sociodemograficos, la Escala de Motivacion Educativa (EME-S) y diferentes calificaciones escolares. Los resultados indican que los adolescentes activos tienen valores mas bajos en consumo de alcohol, tabaco y cannabis. Ademas presentan niveles mas altos de motivacion academica y un mejor rendimiento academico en las tres materias analizadas, matematicas, lengua y educacion fisica. La practica de actividad fisico-deportiva en adolescentes se asocia a niveles mas bajos de consumo de sustancias saludablemente, nocivas asi como con mayor rendimiento academico y a una mayor motivacion educativa.
