In light of these black-box and complicated issues, this research proceeds with a unifying review of the IMC literature and tries to turn it in the direction of how the LGBT community has been portrayed in it and as an audience how they have been impacted. The purpose of this research is to understand and analyse the factors which play a major role in the potential customers of the LBGT community’s intention to recommend any technology products. We have developed eight hypotheses based on the UTAUT-extended model. The data were collected from 450 self-proclaimed LGBT community members from five major cities in India. The samples were collected using purposive and snowball techniques. The findings demonstrate that factors such as behavioural intention, user behaviour, consumer technology adoption, intention to recommend and IMC play a major role in motivating and influencing the community to adopt and recommend technology products.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"29 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134954473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estimating equity returns and evaluating potential financial distress risk are essential for investment and trading decisions. The link between distress risk and stock return is controversial, and current literature yields contradicting results. A variety of models may be used to evaluate distress risk-return trade-offs. This paper employs a revised Altman Z-score to examine financial distress and value premiums. Using univariate and multivariate techniques, we examine firm- and industry-level portfolio returns, encompassing all Indian companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Results confirm the existence of the distress factor effect found in industry and firm-level portfolios. It shows that the distress risk factor significantly determines stock returns as an independent systematic risk factor. This result is consistently found in most industries. The study demonstrates the existence of a value premium in both distressed and safe zones. The study also used a multivariate GRS test and the Fama-Macbeth procedure to validate the reliability of the distress factor and pricing models. Results confirm that Altman model-based distress factor augmented models improve the performance of existing pricing models with higher reliability and accuracy.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"29 28","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134954646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the use of this technology still does not show its significance, especially when compared to similar countries. Therefore, this study proposes a theoretical framework based on push–pull–mooring, with factors derived from motivation theory, technology acceptance model and other theories. The research findings underscore the comparison of perceived value internally (efficiency and effectiveness) and externally (discounts, rebates and others) as push and pull factors for users to switch from cash to MP. Furthermore, mooring proxies represented by switching costs and self-efficacy provide a unique understanding of the body of knowledge in the discussed field. The practical action proposed for MP service providers is to always improve quality in terms of accessibility for technical use, and collaboration with related parties is important. Also, for policymakers in Indonesia, deployment of information technology infrastructure and accommodating policies to facilitate licensing for service providers to ensure the security of deposit funds, user data and personal profiles.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":" 21","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135241658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has become a global concern and many governments have initiated sustainable policies to reduce the consumption of single-use plastics to protect the eco-system. A few countries have banned the sale of plastic bags and thereby there is a reduction in the usage of plastics. This study develops a comprehensive framework by extending the theory of planned behaviour. Specifically, this study investigates the effects of connectedness to nature and retailers’ incentives on attitudes towards the environment. This study also tests the effects of attitude, perceived behavioural control, and subjective norm on intention to bring your own bag (BYOB), and also examines the impact of intention to BYOB on pro-environmental behaviour. Data was collected from India. This study applied structural equation modelling with a sample of 505 to test the relationships. The study results show that retailers’ incentives do not affect attitudes towards the environment and subjective norms do not have a significant relationship with intention to BYOB. This study provides important implications for the retailers and policymakers.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"82 9","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135461552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The methodology utilized Biblioshiny from the Bibliometrix Library of R software to process documents obtained from the Scopus database from 1999 to 2020. In parallel, the VOSviewer software executed the five types of bibliometric methods: citation analysis, co-citation analysis, bibliographic coupling, co-authorship analysis, and co-occurrence analysis. The main findings focus top 10 authors, 10 primary sources, 10 leading countries, 10 relevant affiliations, central clusters of collaborative networks, relevant authors and sources from influence and similarity, and principal connection concepts; therefore, customer experience in service design has become essential for scientific research and is rising in the European continent. Future research must consider methods to reinforce the fundamentals of service design and customer experience, technology to improve the customer experience in service design, services ecosystems for value co-creation, and the customer’s experience in the physical environment of the services.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135618236","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The reason for selecting this sector is because RCEP block exported 50% of the global share of T&C products in 2019. Besides, this industry has been quite important from an employment generation point of view and a leading earner of foreign exchange for many nations around the world. Given the free trade agreement and an ambitious approach towards removing the majority of tariff lines pertaining to this sector, RCEP can potentially alter the direction of T&C trade and have related spillover benefits and trade-off in the global supply chain. This study undertakes an evaluative investigation through computable general equilibrium modelling. The article tries to analyse the impact of a potential free trade agreement specific to the RCEP block on the member nation’s gross domestic product, exports, industrial production, employment and welfare. The impact on exports is reportedly a mixed bag where countries such as China and Vietnam stand out to gain enormously while a few others are expected to lose. On similar lines, production in this sector appears to rise for RCEP members such as Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, Japan, China and Cambodia while for other members the same is seen to decline. Also, T&C trade is noticed to divert away from non-RCEP members. An important policy implication for non-member RCEP nations is to ratify individual trade agreements pertaining to T&C trade. The study shows the mitigation of the trade diversion effect of RCEP by taking India’s example and incorporating its free trade agreements in T&C trade with RCEP non-member country like the UK and then with RCEP nation like Australia. The supposed trade agreements of India have been incorporated in the main model along with RCEP.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135731500","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Online reviews are a highly appreciated source of information for travellers making decisions about booking a hotel room through online travel agencies (OTA). This encourages researchers to investigate the direct and serial mediation effects of review ratings (RR) and cewebrity reviews (CR) on the relationship between booking website quality (BWQ) and online booking intentions (OBI). The stimulus-organism-response (S-O-R) framework was used to validate the hypotheses. Data were obtained from 665 users who experienced booking through OTA in India’s cities. SPSS and partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) were used to analyze the data. Researchers have used importance-performance map analysis (IPMA) to map the attributes and priorities of OBI. These findings suggest that BWQ positively affects OBI. Serial mediation of RR and CR in the relationship between BWQ and OBI was statistically significant. The findings revealed that when guests became more concerned about reviews, the relationship between BWQ and OBI became stronger. This research contributes to online reviews in the field of hospitality services as well as to stakeholders involved in the hotel booking process.","PeriodicalId":44860,"journal":{"name":"Vision-The Journal of Business Perspective","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-10-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135729899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
