The simplest and most versatile form of bearingless motor is the bearingless slice rotor motor. This kind of motor with centrifugal pump has a wide range of applications in life science, chemical processing industry, semiconductor manufacturing industry, foodstuff processing industry, and so on. In the paper, a 3-phase permanent magnet slice rotor motor is set up, and suspension principle of bearingless permanent magnet slice rotor motors is introduced. Theoretical formulas of driving system and radial suspension forces are given, and then the control system for the 3-phase bearingless permanent magnet slice rotor motor is designed and presented. An experimental platform of digital control system is developed to meet the need, and experiments including core loss measure, speed regulation and suspension force control are performed. The experiment results are presented under unload and load. The gate driver for each power semiconductor requires its own floating or isolated DC voltage source. Traditional methods on meeting the requirement are expensive and bulky. This paper presents a gate driver design for floating voltage source type multilevel inverters. Bootstrap capacitors are used to form the floating voltage sources in the design, which allows a single DC power supply to be used by all the gate drivers. Specially configured diode plus the proper charging cycles maintain adequate capacitor voltage levels. Such a simple and low cost solution allows user to utilize the easy accessible single-channel gate drivers for multilevel inverter applications without the extra cost on the bulky isolated DC power supplies for each gate driver. A new mathematical model of switched linear systems-matrix coefficient polynomial description model is presented. An obvious description form of the relationship between the continuous variable and discrete variable is built, a new model of switched linear system of DC-DC converters, in which continuous variable and discrete variable interact on each other directly, is given. To some extent, the new model helps to reveal the essence of operation activity and analyze the performance of DC-DC converters. The operation principle of the very converter is simply analyzed. Digital design consideration based on the small-signal dynamic modeling of the isolated PFC converter is specified in this paper. Implementation strategy and cost effectiveness of digital control for the single-stage PFC converter are studied. A transformer is used to provide galvanic isolation enables a wide range of output voltages, either lower or higher than the input voltage, allowing multi-output solutions. The adopted digital control strategy features fast dynamic response and excellent steady regulation characteristic without multiplying the input feedforward. High power factor and high efficiency are both achieved by combining FB main circuit and digital control. That flexibility is greatly increased can further contribute to system integration research on distributed power system. Without multiplying the input feedforward, fast dynamic can be achieved due to the flexibility of digital control strategy. Comparing with the traditional transformers, it has a special magnetic structure, namely magnetic air-gap shunt, and adds a resonance coil on the secondary side. The modelling and analysis indicate that the magnetic air-gap shunt can be equivalent to a step-down inductor between the primary and secondary coils. It is in series with the parallel resonance-circuit to construct a filter-network, which makes the difference-mode (DM) interferences be attenuated obviously, while nearly doesn't affect the fundamental signal. In order to suppress the common-mode (CM) interferences, two coils with few turns and opposite direction, which are in series with the primary coil, are also added. A prototype of the IFT has been implemented in the lab. The PFC converter operates in a discontinuous current mode (DCM). In proposed method, the sixth-order harmonic is injected in PWM so that the harmonic content of the input current meet IEC555-2(A) requirement. The theoretical analysis of the harmonic-injection is discussed. Furthermore, the model and simulation of PFC converter are made via MATLAB/SIMULINK software. Finally the simulated waveforms of the input current are also showed. In this paper, the stray electromagnetic coupling factors in an EMI common mode filter are investigated by different experiments after theory analysis. A novel metal insulated grids method is proposed to separate electric and magnetic field effect between two CM chokes. The parasitic parameter influence of passive components on insertion loss is also analyzed and compared with stray coupling effect. In the end, a novel equivalent paralleled capacitance decrease design is introduced and validated by experiment. The fault parameters was designed to detect the fault, adaptive updating method was introduced to estimate and tracking fault, fuzzy neural networks was used to adjust the fault parameters and construct automated fault diagnosis, and the fault compensation control force, which given by fault estimation, was used to realize fault accommodation. This framework leaded to a simple structure and an accurate detection. By measuring the output voltage the two bridge-arms voltage and the temperature of MOSFET, the belief function assignment is obtained, and the fusion belief function assignment is obtained by using D-S rule and fuzzy logic, and fault component is found.
