It is subject to monochromatic illumination on the front side (transmitter) and the thermally insulated back panel. Equations governed by phenomena of transport of minority charge carriers and excitons following excitation are coupled to the heat. They are discretized with the finite difference method and are solved with finite volume method. The development of a computer code gave results in good agreement with those obtained by other authors and may also enable better control performance solar cells, for their improvement. We present the results for different values of the factor and the coefficient of heat flux coupling.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"6 1-2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124051187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In diluted regime, the autocorrelation function exhibits a nearly mono-exponential relaxation. The best fit is obtained by using the method of cumulant up to order 2. The apparent hydrodynamic radius RHapp and polydispersity index σD were deduced. In concentrated regime, the DLS correlation function exhibit two relaxation modes. According to Pusey and Weissman, the fast one corresponds to collective diffusion coefficient (number density fluctuations) and the slow one corresponds to self diffusion coefficient (polydispersity fluctuation). The variation of Dc and Ds with volume fraction Φ reflects that the droplets interact via an overall repulsive potential.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113968348","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This potential is inserted in the radial part of Klein-Gordon equation which is solved numerically using Numerouv integration method. The logarithmic derivatives of the inner and outer solutions are matched at the nuclear surface and phase shifts are obtained for each partial wave. As such, scattering amplitudes and cross sections can easily be calculated. The reliability and success of our potential are examined by accounting for the measured elastic differential cross sections, especially at very large angles, and reaction cross sections for π± – 12C at 100 MeV. The use of full Klein-Gordon equation, and not the truncated one, is very important in explaining large and very large angle data.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115088020","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three materials (copper, aluminum and steel) were tested in experiments. Current/voltage characteristics indicate that currents related with steel electrodes are larger than those of copper and aluminum electrodes. The oscillograms giving the temporal evolution of the current for these three materials allowed us conclude that Trichel pulses with aluminum are more regular than those of copper or steel. The I-V characteristics of the three electrodes material are well fitted by the universal parabolic expression. The numerical coefficients for a parabolic fitting of the measured current-voltage characteristics for the negative corona were determined. Finally, it was established than the stability of the discharge is better with aluminum electrodes.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132060601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These tabulated values are chosen according to the work of Hassaneen et al, 2011. The Brueckner–Hartree–Fock approximation plus a density-dependent contact term as a three-body force are used to achieve the empirical saturation property of symmetric nuclear matter. The three-body force provides a strong enhancement of pressure and incompressibility in good agreement with relativistic approaches. Realistic nucleon-nucleon interactions which reproduce the nucleon-nucleon phase shifts are used in the present calculations. Good agreement is obtained in comparison with the experimental data.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115630209","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The deformations and orientations of the incoming and out-going nuclei/ fragments are included within this formalism which play extremely important role for the superheavy mass region. The model considers all the decay products of a CN as dynamical mass motions of preformed fragments or clusters through the interaction barrier, thereby including structure effects of the CN explicitly. The shell effects, which play vital role in the formation and decay of superheavy nuclei, are also explored within this framework by assigning Z=126 and 120 with N=184, respectively, as the best suited magic pairs for addressing ER and ff processes. For a given CN at a fixed E*CN, the only parameter of the model, the neck length parameter ∆R, is found to be independent of incoming reaction partners. In addition to this, role of the barrier modification which is an inbuilt property of DCM is analyzed for various heavy ion reactions leading to superheavy nuclei. Finally, the isospin effects of changing the N/Z ratio of Z=115 compound nucleus have also been investigated.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122756596","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The microstructure of the samples was also investigated using Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). XRD spectra revealed a behaviour in conformity with the phase diagram established by Jaffe et al. Few studies have reported the existence of such anomalies, which we have interpreted on the basis of structural characterization.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116482311","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the most important advantages of scanning systems is that the field-shaping material devices in the beam path are minimized or removed entirely. Scanning systems inherently provide the intensity modulated radiation fields of ion beams that allow for a much greater flexibility in tailoring the dose distribution than in the case of passive delivery systems. A study of scanning properties of dipole bending magnets is published in order to provide engineers the theoretical tool for the early stage of a scanning-system design. This study is focused on scanning properties of dipole bending magnets with pure dipole fields without any gradient. The 90°, 60°, 45° and 30° bending magnets are studied. A two-directional magnetic scanning system with two scanners, one in the horizontal and another one in the vertical plane, is considered. This 2D magnetic scanning system ensures a parallel scanning mode in both transverse planes. The ion-optical properties of 2D magnetic scanning system and the study results for dipole bending magnets mentioned above are discussed.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"120 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124161600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, we compute the structure factor using the Ornstein-Zernike integral equation approach together with the hypernetted chain (HNC) closure relation, with an effective pair potential for each experimental situation. Second, we show that adding PEO-m strengthens repulsive interaction, while an addition of PEO-2m induces rather an attractive interaction by bridging between nanodroplets. Finally, the agreement between the calculated and experimental spectra is reasonable and allows a quantitative description for each mixed system.","PeriodicalId":448231,"journal":{"name":"International Review of Physics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128797350","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
