The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility values of these pigments and pigment-protein complexes were obtained at 1030 nm wavelength using the third harmonic generation ratio technique, combined with index of refraction measurements. The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility values of flavonoids, phycobilins and phycobiliproteins decreased with increasing concentration, while the magnitudes of the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility values with concentration of phycobilins and phycobiliproteins was much larger than flavonoids.","PeriodicalId":448071,"journal":{"name":"2019 Photonics North (PN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116204197","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
