The KOTAKU program is a government initiative that aims to improve access and quality of urban settlements, with a focus on slum settlements. RPLP is a planning document that provides guidance in structuring an integrated, sustainable and participatory settlement environment. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting case studies at several locations that have implemented RPLP in the KOTAKU Program. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, including local communities, local governments and other relevant institutions. The analysis is carried out by identifying changes that have occurred in community capacity after the implementation of the RPLP, including increased knowledge, skills, and participation in decision-making related to the settlement environment. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the RPLP in the KOTAKU Program has a positive impact on strengthening community capacity. Community participation in planning and decision-making processes increases, resulting in a better and more sustainable living environment. Communities also acquire new knowledge and skills in managing the residential environment, such as waste management, energy saving and utilization of local resources. This research makes an important contribution in understanding the importance of implementing RPLP in environmental sustainable development. The recommendations resulting from this research can be used by local governments and other related institutions to increase the effectiveness of the KOTAKU Program and strengthen the community's role in environmentally sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":" 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139140668","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The application of modern architecture in dormitory buildings is designed with a more minimalist impression and still has the aesthetics of the beauty of the modern building. Modern architecture uses the concept of \"forms follow function\" by eliminating elements of ornamentation in buildings. The application of modern architecture in buildings is an adequate and practical approach in the form of a dormitory building. The methodology is mix method, namely, primary data from observations in the field at the design site and secondary data derived from informational data (literature) obtained from internet data sources such as journals, articles, and data in book references. This student dormitory research is expected to provide data for designing a building that can meet the needs of students on campus activities and students' daily lives and give comfort to its users.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":" 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139143097","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To determine the limited level of land suitability by using variables determining land suitability, which includes slope, rainfall, soil texture, and land use. The analysis consisted of 3 (three) stages. The first stage used nearest-neighbor analysis to explain settlement distribution patterns. In the second stage, an analysis of the suitability of residential land was carried out using overlapping techniques related to physical environmental data based on selected variables for residential areas. The third stage is preparing recommendations for residential development locations around the Balongan industrial area with an overlay analysis based on parameters, namely parameters for protected rice fields (LSD), sustainable food agricultural land (LP2B), and the spatial pattern plan for Indramayu Regency for 2011-2031. Based on the analysis, it was concluded that there are three types of settlements around KPI Balongan. The ideal location for residential land to be developed based on land suitability analysis and spatial pattern planning is in Juntikebon Village, Sudimampir Village, with a settlement pattern that can be developed into medium and large types.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":"83 S16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139146074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Each individual has different housing needs based on their social, economic, and cultural aspects. This diversity requires housing design solutions with various design variations that can meet the residents' needs. Vertical housing has become one answer to fulfilling housing needs, but the quality of life in vertical housing is often considered worse compared to conventional housing. Currently, the constructed vertical housing buildings lack high spatial flexibility, as they typically have fixed forms and limited living space that restricts the flexibility for occupants. Commercial vertical housing with the application of modular architecture and prefabrication is one approach that can provide a solution to dynamic living needs quickly and responsively to the environmental typology, while also providing open spaces for residents to enhance their quality of life.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":"18 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138589278","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This traditional building is a cultural heritage that must be preserved. However, preservation led to many changes in the form and space of traditional buildings. Rumah Gadang which is located in Kampung Adat Balai Kaliki, Payakumbuh City West Sumatera has a level of change in minor and major. That matter could happen because of differences in the network of actor relations in each building. The factor of actor relations has an impact to change the preservation of traditional buildings, thus providing a new perspective on the preservation of traditional buildings. Therefore, this research aims to observe the changes that occur in the Rumah Gadang located in Kampung Adat Balai Kaliki through actor network’s perspective. Completion of this research using a qualitative methodology with Actor Network Theory (ANT) method by examining changes that occur in Rumah Gadang holistically, which is through a study the relations between the actors involved in that building to discorver the factors that cause the changes. This research find that the relation of actors involved in each Rumah Gadang determines the quantity of building changes. The result is charted using sosiotechnogram to know the strong actors in actor relations from each Rumah Gadang. Therefore, this research could be the basis for appropriate practices of preserving Rumah Gadang traditional building.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":"282 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139336786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method used is temperature measurement and building thermal identification using a digital thermal imaging tool, namely Flir CX-3, which is carried out during the day, as well as measuring the WWR (window-to-wall ratio) value of the building. The results of the thermal image analysis show that the North-South orientation gets lower temperatures compared to the East-West orientation, even though it has a larger WWR value of 12.9% and 20.9%. Based on the results of this analysis, it is suggested to consider the orientation of the sun in designing residential houses in the city of Medan. Houses with a North-South orientation are the best choice for maximum thermal comfort and natural lighting, supported by large openings as one of the characteristics of modern tropical architecture.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121063944","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept of Islamic Architecture can maintain harmony between nature and local culture, and sustainable designs must be used, protecting the environment from the planning stage onwards. Barus, which is the entrance to the Islamic Archipelago Civilization, has the potential to be developed into a favorite destination for pilgrims. The beautiful environment around Barus is an added value for this area because the beaches are still beautiful, and the people still adhere to their local wisdom. The object of study is to explore and implement religious-oriented design for resort hotel. The method we use is qualitative explorative research by reviewing some relevant-theory and synthesizing concept. The study formed the design statement: Barus as the \"Zero Point of the Spread of Archipelago Islamic Civilization,\" which will attract domestic and international visitors, boost the local economy, and provide jobs for the local community. It is necessary to include a bit of Mandailing Batak culture as the majority ethnic group in Barus. The main objective of this sharia resort design is to create sharia-oriented atmosphere through the use of religious architecture and upholding positive human relations. Mosques, galleries, viewing towers, separate swimming pools for men and women, and other facilities are available at this resort, which will make visitors' vacations keep connecting to from Islamic concepts.","PeriodicalId":447776,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Koridor","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115932815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When tourism is linked to the success of a city in supporting its economy, questions will arise about who has an emotional attraction to tourist destinations and what is the comparison between the levels of visits by local and foreign tourists to tourist destinations, especially religious tourism. The existence of an emotional bond between tourists and tourist destinations will help the level of visits that occur in the future. By using an emotional bond approach between visitors and religious tourism destinations, a comparison of the level of visits by local and foreign tourists will arise, so this problem becomes a complex matter to discuss. One of the tourist destinations that is experiencing regional development is the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, Banda Aceh City, which is better known as religious tourism. In addition, this area has a very high level of visits, caused by changes and developments in the region. Therefore, this study aims to find the level of comparison of the number of visits by local and foreign tourists through the emotional ties of visitors and what factors can encourage tourists' desire to visit. The method used in this study is a mixture of qualitative and quantitative data obtained from literature studies, distributing questionnaires, field observations, and interviews; distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents, namely tourists and the surrounding community; conducting field observations at the research location; and conducted in-depth interviews with eight key informants, namely local community leaders, tourism practitioners, government officials, and academics. It will be analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method to produce comparative findings through the data obtained.
