In this paper, a low-cost, adaptive filtering algorithm is proposed on the basis of the Reduced Partial Update Simplified Fast Transversal Filter (RPU- SMFTF) algorithm and Set Membership (SM) principle. The suggested algorithm is termed Set Membership-RPU-SMFT algorithm (SM-RPU-SMFTF). The benefits of the suggested algorithm, as opposed to the Normalized Least Mean Square (NLMS) and RPU-SMFTF adaptive algorithms, are outlined using simulation results. From the results, we infer that the SM-RPUSMFTF algorithm provides a good convergence phase, tracking ability and better steady-state phase than the other comparison algorithms with reduced the computational complexity.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129419921","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The watermarking technique has been strengthened by means of a chaos-based encryption scheme for the used watermark image. The speech acquisition is performed using FPGA inbuilt microphone while the recovery has been realized through a loudspeaker as output device for the watermarked signal and VGA monitor for the watermark image respectively. The transmission of the watermarked signal has been implemented using Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) serial protocol between two FPGA boards. The LSB IP-Cores developed and integrated in the watermarking prototype have been synthesized by means of a co-design approach using Vivado-HLS. The realized prototype has required performances of 1132 LUT area using a speed of 130 Mhz and a power consumption of no more than 159 mW. Lastly, good results have been obtained of watermarking imperceptibility and security with low robustness performances against signal processing and geometric cryptanalysis attacks.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"700 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132814905","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this context, data visualization is an effective way to represent data and help physicians to interpret a diagnostic test result. This paper focuses on how to better visualize health data under timevarying which is sorely needed in the analysis of sensitive data, such as electrocardiograph (ECG) signals. We propose an interactive data visualization method under data manipulation. The prototype was created using the InfluxDB database management system and the Grafana tool to store and visualize ECG signals, respectively. We also provide an empirical comparison of the proposed approach to the base methods of data visualization and draw useful conclusions upon their performance.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134237269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This Radar works around 2.4 GHz. The Cantennas are made of cans acting as circular antennas. In order to improve the range of the Radar, a parametric study is implemented to optimize the matching and radiation features of these antennas. This study mainly consists in tuning the length and the width of the Cantennas so as to reduce the return loss (S11). These antennas were tested with the Doppler SDR radar. These tests allow getting the antenna which can yield accurate evaluation of the velocity of a fan propeller in a large range. Finally, two ameliorated Cantennas where built and experimented, showing that they can account for such a velocity.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132386051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the X Rays diffraction analysis (XRD), both layers present hexagonal wurtzite-structure, however a small shift in the lattice parameters values (a, c) is observed, which confirms the distortion of these lattices. Layers observation surfaces by scanning-electron microscopy (SEM) shows the films morphology change by the doping, pure ZnO and $A M Z O$ films have a nanostructured surface with spherical form. The incorporation of $mathrm{Ag}^{+}, mathrm{Mn}^{2+}$ in the place of $mathrm{Zn}^{2+}$ leads to the decrease of the nanospherical structures diameter as compared with pure $mathbf{Z n O}$ films. Ultraviolet visible spectroscopy (Uv-Vis) analysis shows a good transparency of the layers and the band-gap decreases with ZnO doping from 3.84 to 3.75eV. The electrical properties confirm the semiconductor nature of ZnO films with sheet resistance around $10^{7} Omega / mathrm{sq}$, and with $A g-M n$ co-doping these films become conductors with sheet resistance of $10^{3} Omega / mathrm{sq}$.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129538446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Vector control is deployed in a DFIG wind turbine to adjust the stator’s active and reactive power. A feedback control loop based on a conventional proportional-integral controller (C- PI) may provide a good dynamic response. The C-PI parameters rely mostly on DFIG parameters, which are highly sensitive to variations and disturbances and profoundly influence the grid’s power quality. This paper studies the vector control approach based on real time simulation of sliding mode controller applied to a DFIG-based wind turbine to compare the robustness, reliability, and effectiveness of this type of controller to conventional PI. The simulation was performed using MATLAB Simulink and RT-LAB OP 5600 tool under ordinary circumstances and parameter variation, and the results confirmed the SMC’s robustness.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125990751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To meet the new challenges, nanosatellites equipment must be improved to provide better performance. This necessitates the use of DC-DC Buck converters of +3.3V, +5V and +12V to step down the high-level DC voltages to a low-level. Current trends in DC-DC buck converter development focus on low losses, high power density, and high efficiency. This paper proposes a +12V DC-DC Buck converter and conducts a comparative study between DC/DC Buck converters to select an appropriate one for our requirements.
