However, when the double talk (DT) signal is available simultaneously with this undesired echo problem, the AEC performance is severely deteriorated due to the rapid deviation of the filter coefficients. Consequently, incorporating a double talk detector (DTD) module with AEC systems is necessary to halt and handle the filter adaptation process during double talk detection. Instead, echo-path changes are basically common in AEC systems, which is one of the main design issues of the logical control of DTD methods. The DTD control can be quite complicated in discriminating the near-end speaker from time-variant echo-path change. In this paper, we introduce several DTD methods and we aim to show the effectiveness and the reliability of these algorithms to differentiate between echo-path variations and double-talk situations that are investigated in our numerical results. In this context, we propose a new criterion to detect echo path changes combined with the cheap normalized cross-correlation (CNCC) double talk detector. The obtained simulation and numerical experiments appear the superior performance of our proposed method in front of DT periods and non-stationary (NS) phases.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134455062","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The majority of people with COVID- 19 have endured only mild or moderate symptoms and recovered without specific treatment. We propose in this work four purely deep learning infrastructures using classification and semantic segmentation algorithms for the vaticination of coronavirus complaint 2019 grounded on scanographic images from two Algerian medical institutes. After a dataset collection and preprocessing steps, we propose to apply a classic CNN as a point extractor and the XGBoost algorithm as a classifier, as a alternate armature we replace the classic CNN by the pretrained VGG16 as a point extractor. The third armature is grounded on segmentation using a U-Net armature and for the last one is grounded on the U-Net-VGG16 combination. The experimental results show that the combination of U-Net and VGG16 algorithms as a CT image segmentation model yielded better results with an IoU of 97%, a precision of 95%, and a loss of 30%.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"48 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132795951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The antenna’s overall size is 8× 8× 0.635 mm3 and radiates in the ISM band with the frequencies 915 MHz and 2.442 GHz. A layer of superstrate is placed over the patch to prevent direct contact between the radiating patch and body tissue. The antenna is simulated in a four-layer human arm model (skin, fat, muscle and bone). The antenna demonstrates a gain of -3.57dB and -2.80dB with a -10dB bandwidth of 135 MHz and 338 MHz for the two resonances respectively. The specific absorption rate is 0.01 W/kg for 1 g of fabric, which satisfies the safety criterion of the FCC standard. The simulated results are compared to existing antennas, which show that this antenna is an excellent candidate for implantable applications due to its remarkable performances in terms of miniaturization, power gain, bandwidth and SAR.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121297959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Named Dated Networking (NDN) has emerged as an alternative communication paradigm to replace the current host-centric TCP/IP networking model due to its attractive features including fast content dissemination and mobility support. However, there has been hardly any study that has explored the suitability of gossip-based interest forwarding for NDN over MANETs. In order to fill this gap, this paper analyzes the performance of gossip-based interest forwarding and compares it against that of the existing Deferred Blind Flooding (BDF) and Blind Flooding (DF) in NDN over MANETs. Our performance results demonstrate that the gossip-based forwarding strategy can exhibit superior performance over DBF and BF with respect to packet retransmissions, response time, and interest satisfaction ratio.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124980544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a new chaos-based encryption scheme that operates in the Integer Wavelet Transform domain is proposed to enhance the security of fingerprint images during transmission. The proposed scheme relies on combining the chaotic Lorenz system, blocks permutation and the Rubik’s cube principle to achieve confusion and diffusion operations. Experimental results show that the proposed technique provides high performances in terms of security, computation time and quality of encrypted images.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127147436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The adopted structure is the decision feedback equalizer (DFE), combined with adaptive algorithms to eliminate ISI. In this paper, we combine the DFE based training sequence with the conventional affine projection (AP) algorithm, and compare it with the normalized least mean square algorithm (NLMS). This comparison is evaluated in terms of constellation diagram, and mean square error (MSE) criterion. The AP Algorithm based decision feedback equalizer technique have shown a faster convergence in comparison with DFE based on NLMS for the two types of modulation, 16-PSK and 16-QAM.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116998140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed predictive control is based on the optimization of a cost function using Taylor series expansion, which is expressed by the Lie derivative. In addition, the selection table and hysteresis comparators of the classic direct torque control (DTC) strategy will be eliminated and replaced with an SVM block, this implementation aims to reduce ripples in the electromagnetic torque and have a constant switching frequency. The comparison of both controllers under various conditions validates that the suggested NMPC-SVM ensure perfect reference tracking, disturbance rejection, and robustness to parameter variations and offers better performance for the PMSM.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130618701","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital watermarking is seen as a promising solution to resolve this issue. A new blind digital watermarking based on deep convolutional auto-encoders is presented in this paper. The system facilitates the embedding and extraction of a watermark in an image for its protection. The proposed architecture comprises four modules: an “encoder” that compresses the original image and watermark, an “embedder” that combines the two, a “decoder” that upsamples the combined result to reconstruct the watermarked image, and an “extractor” for watermark retrieval. The experimental results indicate that the watermarked images maintain their visual quality after insertion, and the extracted watermark remains robust against various various attacks such as filtering, rotation, and noise.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130689448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This reflector is composed of a $7times 7$ array of periodic octagonal patches, loaded on the back of the antenna structure, in order to realize a steady gain over a wide impedance bandwidth. Parametric studies are conducted to identify the key design parameters that affect the antenna performances. The obtained results indicate that the proposed structure exhibits a steady gain with 2 dB variation (between 6 and 8 dB) over a wide impedance bandwidth ranging from 3.5 to 5.80 GHz (|S11|<-10dB), which correspond to a 49% relative bandwidth.","PeriodicalId":447668,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Advances in Electronics, Control and Communication Systems (ICAECCS)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125532203","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
