Therefore, through the study of traditional residential lighting methods, combined with the architectural characteristics of the site, while continuing the regional style and features, this design starts from the perspective of architectural space, lighting openings and lighting materials, and proposes strategies for improving the indoor light environment of folk houses in the ancient street, taking Site No. 47 as an example to carry out the design of improving the light environment. The main genre as part of an alternative forecast is proposed — a game architectural utopia. Its functions, properties, and categories are analyzed, the fundamental role of the architect in the process of designing interactive architectural foresight is revealed. The authors introduce the concept of a “Light” and “Dark” architectural superhero in the game utopia. In the article, the authors explore a new approach to the architectural forecasting of the city of the future, which is based on the principles of computer games. The main role of an architect is revealed, who acts as a hero of a film or a computer game, creating a living game future by his actions. At the end of the article, two polarities of the architectural utopia of the 21st century were proposed: the virtual and physical space of the game. Its essence lies in the vagueness of the such concepts as 'historical settlement' and 'landmark', mentioned in the currently existing federal law \"On the Objects of Cultural Heritage (Monuments of History and Culture) of the Peoples of the Russian Federation\" No. 73-FZ (Federal Law) of June 25, 2002. The uncertainty and ambiguity of terms of 'the object of protection' of historical settlement and various landmarks also make the situation more complicated, and in some cases clear localization of such unique objects as 'historical settlement' and 'landmark' is impossible. The article presents a problem of localization and volumetric-spatial and planning integrity of historical settlements and landmarks. The author argues that the basic fact for identification of a historical settlement on the territory of a contemporary city or town is the existence of historical milieu – even in the case when any objects of cultural heritage are absent.
