A descriptive survey research design was adopted. Three research questions guided the study. The population of the study comprised 414 registered postgraduate students. A simple random sampling technique was used to determine the sample size, which is 120 students, representing 30% of the total population. The questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. Data were analyzed with frequency counts, simple percentages, and Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 23 was used to generate the mean and standard deviation. The findings revealed that the majority of the postgraduate students used the library information resources occasionally and that the students mostly used e-books, theses/dissertations projects, government publications, and print and e-journals. Lastly, the study established that the majority of the postgraduate students are not satisfied with the available library information resources provided by the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education. Based on the findings, the researchers recommended that the library management should provide current and relevant information resources in the library to encourage users to effectively use the library resources and services. The library should also implement strategic policies that will enhance effective service delivery.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130645472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Journal of Scientometric Research journal underwent a Bibliometric analysis that turned up 370 articles from the Dimensions AI database between the years of 2012 and 2022. This article has examined a number of variables, including the publication format of the document; the distribution of papers and citations by year; the productivity of the writers, and the most cited work. The results demonstrate that the largest number of papers published in 2020 was 58. The year 2022 saw a maximum of 226 citations. Apparently, this shows that Bidyarthi Dutta and Sujit Bhattacharya have overwhelmed the most useful authors list by contributing 15 and 8 articles.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127571126","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present research sought to find out the extent to which social media advertising is making an impact on SMEs in the Kumasi Metropolis. A qualitative research approach with emphasis on case study as a research design was employed. Data was collected from 17 respondents in the form of face to face interviews from artisans working in a range of small medium scale enterprises within the Kumasi Metropolis, specifically in the Bomso, Anloga Junction and Afful Nkwanta catchment areas. Two major themes emerged from the findings: “social media for business promotion” and “perceptions of artisans on social media”. The findings suggest that there is the need for an intensive education on the use and importance of social media advertising for business purposes and the perceptions of the artisans about social media advertising could be explored for future research with regard to policy and practice.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125070400","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
