An efficient anti-collision mechanism, such as anti-collision algorithms or anti-collision protocols, must be established in order to coordinate communication between the tag and the reader in the event that an RFID system experiences signal interference in the wireless channel, conflict, or collision, which will result in tag recognition or data collection failure. In response to tag conflicts in radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, a novel hybrid blocking query tree algorithm is suggested that leverages blocking prediction and child node hedging techniques to overcome the issues of lengthy time intervals and high communication complexity. The technique uses quadruple and bifurcated query trees as the foundation for its conflict avoidance strategy. The approach minimizes the conflict time and prevents the construction of idle subunits by forcing the reader to create new query prefixes via prediction, which is accomplished by employing locking commands to extract and forecast information about the conflicting bits. According to simulation data, this strategy performs better in terms of lowering the overall number of time slots and communication complexity as well as enhancing identification and labelling abilities than the current adaptive multi-tree search (RLAMS) and improved hybrid query tree (IHQT) techniques. It greatly increases the effectiveness of label identification while lowering the overall amount of time slots and communication complexity.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"34 51","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"138601559","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accelerometers, ubiquitous in vehicle manufacturing, computer technology, and audio-video systems, play a crucial role in measuring acceleration. This work focuses on the design and simulation of a rotating accelerometer integrated into football helmets. The introduction of rotational acceleration addresses specific challenges in detecting and mitigating brain injuries that linear accelerometers may encounter. Additionally, the article explores the concept of piezoresistive football helmets, designed to resist force and reduce the impact of concussions. Piezoresistive helmets, designed to resist force and minimize the impact of concussions, when augmented with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities can create a comprehensive smart safety solution. The incorporation of IoT sensors and connectivity into piezoresistive helmets enables real-time monitoring and data analysis of impact forces. This integration not only enhances player safety by providing immediate insights into potential risks but also opens avenues for injury prevention strategies. Leveraging COMSOL simulation software, this research not only conceives but also realizes the innovative integration of rotational accelerometers and piezoresistive materials in football helmet design, advancing safety standards in sports technology.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139211473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem of network performance arises from the mobility of nodes and their misbehaviour. Network performance is negatively impacted by data loss and sensor node misbehaviour. In certain cases, there are malicious sensor nodes that are designed to destroy the network’s capacity. This work aims to identify hostile nodes using an irregular set technique. The route entry table’s broadcasting metadata helps identify rogue nodes. Every sensor node in the network broadcasts information about adjacent nodes and maintains a sentry table. Premeditated data delivery proportion, throughput, delay, packet drop, and fault rate are used to estimate broadcasting record parameters. In the NS2 environment, mobile nodes with varying velocities are simulated. To generate an information table, mobile nodes with varying speeds are examined based on their broadcasting records. On the basis of guidelines taken from the irregular set tactic table, good and bad nodes are distinguished. Packets are disseminated along the shortest path that doesn’t contain any malicious nodes. The results of the proposed technique show that an irregular set tactic increases throughput, network capability, data delivery percentage, and end-to-end delay reduction in mobile sensors.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139232307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the experimental standardization of these attributes can be time-consuming, their comprehension is facilitated through simulation analysis. In this paper, we use COMSOL Multiphysics to compare the rheological behaviour of three different bioprinting-friendly fluids: pure silk, silk mixed with PCL, and silk-PCL mixed with eggshell membrane. Our analysis focuses on the fluid flow dynamics in an air medium at various time intervals, specifically assessing the magnitude of velocity in each scenario. By considering both velocity and the uniformity of fluid dispersion throughout the inkjet process, we aim to identify the most advantageous fluid combination and optimal time interval for bioink applications. The transmission of this real-time data to a centralized Internet of Things (IoT) platform might facilitate the ability of researchers to remotely assess and visually represent the efficacy of various fluid combinations during the printing procedure.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"45 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139236879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study's execution was directed by three research questions, and a descriptive survey approach was chosen. 56 library employees made up the study's population, but only professionals and paraprofessionals were selected using the judgmental sampling technique, resulting in a sample of 21. The questionnaire was used to collect data. Frequency counts, straightforward percentages, and means were used to examine the data. The results demonstrate that five of the university library's seven units were computerized and that this computerization has a favourable effect on the delivery of library services. Finally, the findings demonstrate that some of the significant obstacles to the effective use of the computerized library system in offering library services include an unstable power supply, a lack of funds, and slow Internet speed. Based on the findings, the researchers suggested that the university library should computerize the other two departments for better services. Additionally, the government ought to increase the nation's electrical supply and provide appropriate funding for education.","PeriodicalId":447091,"journal":{"name":"Indian Journal of Information Sources and Services","volume":"15 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124521452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
