This study examined the influence of coach independent support behavior and coach-athlete relationship on athlete input. Methods: 450 Chinese athletes aged 14 to 26 were surveyed by questionnaire. Results: Coach independent support behavior and coach-athlete relationship can significantly positively predict athlete input. Moreover, the coach-athlete relationship was significantly positive associated with athlete input. The problems that need to be solved, as well as the development opportunities of youth leisure sports under the background of \"double reduction\" policy. The research content includes the opportunities and challenges of youth leisure sports development under the \"double reduction\" policy, and how to develop youth leisure sports under the background of \"double reduction\" policy. Conclusion: Under the \"double reduction\" policy, the opportunities for the development of youth leisure sports in China have policy support, the vigorous development of the sports industry, the increase of exercise time, etc., the main challenges are difficult to implement the policy, the equipment is not perfect, and the attraction of non-sports entertainment projects. It is in line with this concern that this study sought to determine the effect of frequency of clinical supervision attendance on compassion fatigue among counsellors in Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. The study adopted the embedded mixed methods approach where ex post facto and phenomenological designs were used. A census was used to obtain a sample of 97 counsellors practicing in Uasin Gishu County to participate in the study. Using critical case criteria, 5 counsellors were purposively sampled for the qualitative approach. Data on frequency of clinical supervision was collected using the demographic questionnaire while the Professional Quality of Life Version 5 (ProQoL-5) collected data on compassion fatigue. An in-depth interview guide collected qualitative data. Quantitative data was analysed using SPSS, version 26.0. All the inferential statistics were tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study found that over half (52.6%) of the respondents had low compassion fatigue while the frequency of clinical supervision was associated with lower risk of compassion fatigue. Chi-square test results, however, showed no statistically significant relationship between the frequency of clinical supervision attendance and compassion fatigue. The study concluded that the frequency of clinical supervision attendance was associated with low levels of compassion fatigue. The study investigated the effect of expressed family emotions on relapsed clients with alcohol use disorder in rehabilitation centres located in Eldoret town, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. This was in the light of concern that recovered clients with alcohol use disorder relapse soon after re-joining their families. The study was anchored on structural family therapy and used concurrent explanatory mixed methods approach. The quantitative strand of the study used ex post facto, causal comparative design while the qualitative strand used phenomenological research design. Stratified and systematic random and purposive sampling techniques were used to obtain a sample size of 92 respondents, comprising 38 clients with alcohol use disorder, 38 family members, 12 relapsed clients and 4 counsellors in the selected registered and licensed rehabilitations centres. Data was collected using a questionnaire and focus group discussion guides. Quantitative data was cleaned, organized, coded and analysed with the aid of Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), version 23. The generated descriptive statistics were summarized and presented in distribution frequency tables. Qualitative data was coded and analysed thematically. The main findings showed that family members expressed high hostility, criticism and over-involvement but low empathy and positive comments towards clients with alcohol use disorder. The study concluded that expressed family emotions affected clients with alcohol use disorder and was a risk factor to relapse. This was in the light of concern that there has been a rise of alcohol and bhang use among young people in Uasin Gishu. The study was guided by Reality theory. A sequential embedded mixed methods research design was used. The quantitative part used ex post facto design and qualitative strand was phenomenological. The target population comprised all adolescents, counsellors, trainers and recoverees in all the six therapeutic communities located in Uasin Gishu. Purposive sampling was used to pick four of the six therapeutic communities, counsellors, recoverees and trainers to participate in the study. From each therapeutic community, a representative sample was selected comprising 80 adolescents, 12 counsellors, 8 recoverees and 10 sports trainers. Data was collected using a questionnaire for adolescents, interviews guide for the counsellors, recoverees and trainers, and document analysis guide. Quantitative data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Qualitative data was analysed thematically. Analysis of Variance was employed to test the research hypotheses. The study established that among the psychosocial interventions used by therapeutic communities to manage risky behaviour of adolescents were: group counselling, family counselling, recreational activities, provision of care, and family support. These interventions have shown significant effectiveness in reducing or eradicating risky behaviours among adolescents in therapeutic communities. The purpose of this research is to investigate the challenges experienced by displaced high school students while schooling as well as the role of the school community in assisting the displaced student to continue in schooling. The objective is this study was to investigate the physical, social, emotional and financial challenges faced by internally displaced high school students as they experienced schooling as well the psycho social support accorded to the students in order to continue with schooling. This study was guided by Phenomenology theory. Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) is widely regarded as the founder of phenomenology as a transcendental philosophy of consciousness. It’s the careful description of experiences in the manner in which they are experienced by the subjects. It’s an inductive descriptive approach that focuses on understanding the response of the whole human beings not just understanding specific parts or behavior. It endeavors to describe an experience as it is lived by the person. Sample size of 96 students was sampled through purposive sampling technique. The participants included displaced high school students, teachers and Principals. The data instruments included questionnaires and semi- structured interviews. The quantitative data was analyzed and presented in frequency distribution tables and percentages. Qualitative data was organized, coded and analyzed based on emerging thematic topics according to the objectives. The study found out that displaced high school students have several schooling challenges in addition to the normal learning challenges facing un-displaced students. Those interviewed agreed that displaced students had the challenges of financial, psychological and social which must be addressed by educational stakeholders. However, dropout has been at the top barring all countries the world over in ensuring a hundred percent literacy rates. The Kenyan government has since independence come up with various policies in a bid to increase access and retention rate: Free primary Education (2003), Free Day Secondary Education (2008) and a 100% transition rate policy (2018) from primary school to secondary. This study sought to investigate Household – related factors leading to Students’ Dropout from Mixed-Day Secondary Schools in Bomet East Sub-County, Kenya for the period between the year 2020 and 2023. This study tried to determine the reasons as to why students drop out of school and suggested recommendations on what can be done about it. The study was based on The Classical Theory of Equal Opportunities and Social Darwinism that is predicated on a philosophy that everyone has fair and equal access to a good quality education regardless of social background, race, gender, or religion, and where people achieve success in education according to their efforts and ability, free from any form of discrimination. Descriptive Research Design was used. Questionnaires and interview schedules were used to collect data from the sampled respondents in sampled Mixed Day Secondary schools. Piloting was carried out. Percentages and Frequencies were used to analyze the data with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). It was found out that the following household-related factors lead to student’s dropout; female genital mutilation, early marriages, child labour and cultural beliefs. The study suggests five recommendations to curb school dropouts. It can reflect the language identities, motives and contestations perceived by stakeholders of different decision-making levels. Prior studies adopted the bottom-up approach to investigate the language practice and ideologies reflected by the design and linguistic features observed in the linguistic landscapes in ethnically and linguistically diverse areas, like Medan in Russia, and Seoul in Korea. As Hong Kong is also a trilingual city with an inclusive combination of nationalities, this paper is intended to take it as a case study to explore the de facto language ideologies reflected by LL at the micro-level. We would look into the catering industry from a holistic perspective by reviewing the food menus of 66 restaurants located in diversified districts and serving different types of cuisines. Through an exploration of the teaching and learning practices of English, it can be said that students encounter specific difficulties in learning listening skills. They often lack interest in this subject and do not allocate much time for it. Based on these findings, the application of Hot Potatoes 6 software is introduced through four steps.
