The proposed multilevel inverter can be used to generate any desired number of voltage levels. The number of power switches required in the proposed topology is lesser than some of the other topologies proposed in recently published research papers. Noteworthy areas such as complexity, economical cost, space required, maintenance also gets reduced due to reduction in power switches and their associate components. Generalized formulae for the proposed symmetrical as well as asymmetrical inverter is included in this paper. The results are validated using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation technique using MATLAB/Simulink platform. This antenna is designed on a rubber substrate, whose mechanical properties make the antenna flexible. Here reconfigurability is achieved by switching the pin diode in ‘on’ and ‘off’ condition. This antenna is integrated with Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) to reduce the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) and to improve the performance. This antenna can be used in Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) band (2.4-2.5) GHz and Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) band (3.5-3.6) GHz. Non linear loads with power electronic converters can create problems in power quality at the point of common coupling (PCC) through harmonic injection. In case of ON grid operation, power quality is normally maintained by utility, and the task of solar inverter is only to inject current at unity power factor (UPF) with less Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). However for OFF grid operation, it also has to maintain voltage of PCC with good power quality. This requires compensation of harmonics generated by nonlinear loads. In this paper cascaded voltage control with a proportional multi resonant (PMR) controller is proposed for a three phase four leg inverter, to achieve this objective. Controllers are designed with bode plot tools and are tuned for resonance at fundamental and dominant harmonic frequencies to achieve necessary harmonic compensation. The aim of this project is to build self-balancing robot using myRIO as the hardware platform. The accelerometer and gyroscope provide a classic inverted pendulum model. The robot uses a complementary filter and a PD (proportional differential) controller with LabVIEW to stand upright. A two-wheeled robot is unstable with the center of mass above the axle without an active mechanism to control it. Building such a system will give prominent challenges in electrical, control and mechanical field to assess the improvement of use and capabilities of myRIO. This work presents an automated computer assisted technique to mine and assess the Region of Interest (ROI) of Computed Tomography (CT) images. In this work, combination of multi-thresholding and the segmentation scheme is implemented to extract the ROI from Brain and Lung CT images. The multi-thresholding is implemented using Bat Algorithm (BA) and the Kapur’s function and the segmentation is implemented with the level set (DRLS). After extracting the ROI from the CT pictures, the region properties of the ROI is evaluated using the GLCM features. The experimental result of this study confirms that, proposed approach is very efficient in extracting the ROI from the considered CT images. PMSM has hysteresis controller which is used to estimate the speed and current controller errors. The common PI controller is used in industry reason that the ruggedness this regulator acquires. Controlling torque and flux is important in electrical drives due to that problem DTC method is used to control flux and torque estimated errors and fed to the power electronic converters. A PI and fuzzy controllers are used as a speed controller whose input is used as a speed controller whose input is the error between the speed command and feedback speed. The MLI is widely used in driving AC loads which requires to be operated with low harmonics. In this paper, the various MLI topologies and the modulation techniques implemented on MLIs are reviewed. While reviewing the various MLI topologies, they are categorized into symmetrical type and asymmetrical type. All the existing MLIs topologies and those that are developed in future can be categorized into one of these two categories. A comprehensive review is done of these topologies to examine the various performance parameters. The modulation techniques are also classified into fundamental switching frequency (FSF) modulation techniques and high switching frequency (HSF) modulation techniques. This classification provides an easy understanding of the concepts that are conveyed by MLI. Reduced Order Interval model is build using Alpha parameters of Higher Order discrete time Interval Systems that are derived based on a recursive formula. The proposed order reduction method is obtained by minimizing Integral Squared Error as an objective function. Numerical example existing in literature are considered to show the effectiveness of the technique. Convincing simulation results are obtained.
