Sources of nonlinearities such as friction and backlash consider an obstacle to obtaining an accurate model. Also, most such systems suffer from a lack of system parameters data. So, this study establishes a model using the black-box modeling approach; simulations are performed based on real-time data collected by LabVIEW software and processed using MATLAB System Identification toolbox. The input signal for the servomechanism system driver is a pseudo-random binary sequence that considers violent excitation in the frequency interval and the output signal is the corresponding stage speed measured by rotary encoder. The candidate models were obtained using linear least squares, nonlinear least squares, and Deep Neural Network (DNN). The validation results proved that the identified model based on DNN has the smallest mean square errors compared to other candidate models.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134005747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For its construction, electro discharge machining was selected since it also allows obtaining different degrees of roughness, which can favor the detachment of bubbles to a larger quantity. Analysis of its performance was carried out at an initial operating temperature of 30 ° C and at seven different distances between electrodes, namely: 9.45; 7.45; 6.35; 5.80; 4.30; 2.80 and 2.45 in millimeters, in order to determine the one with the lowest energy consumption to produce a fixed amount of hydrogen. Results obtained from the evaluated distances show that as the distance between electrodes becomes smaller, so do the electrical and transport resistances. The percentage increase in the current density for the distances of 9.45 and 2.45 mm, with respect to the applied potential difference, shows that at 2.2 V, it is above 80% (in current density) and maintained, with small fluctuations throughout the range of applied voltages. Therefore, using the same amount of energy, a greater volume of hydrogen is obtained.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117051368","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It largely influences the quality of the product and especially the time required to produce the final product. Studies in the field of assembly show that as technology advances, it is necessary to use new improvements at each stage of production, which includes the assembly stage. The aim of every enterprise should be to make the best and most economical use of all the resources at its disposal, on the one hand, and to increase productivity, on the other. Nowadays, ergonomics must be taken into account when solving problems or rationalizing assembly, since most assembly operations are carried out manually. In the theoretical part of the document, the assembly process is described together with the factors that influence it, focusing on manual assembly and its impact on ergonomics. The practical part describes an experiment carried out with the aim to increase the ergonomics of workers and to make the assembly process more efficient at an assembly workplace in a selected industrial enterprise through pre-arrangement of the workplace.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122518991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The planar wing was divided into N panels of the size: 6X6 with trapezoid shape panels. As expected, for high ARs the VLM solution for the lifting coefficient is coincided with the finite wing theory whereas for small ARs (<1) it is coincided with the slender body theory (~1). Afterwards, we obtained that the calculated VLM induced drag becomes closer to the finitewing theory as the AR value is increased.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129332285","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Experiments were performed on different concrete mixes with water–cement ratios of 0.50, 0.55, and 0.60. The superplasticizer dosages by weight of cement were 0%, 0.8%, 1%, and 1.2%. The experiments were classified into two phases: the first phase focused on the effects of superplasticizer admixture on workability and compressive strength, and the second phase determined the influence of superplasticizer admixture on concrete quality by reducing the amount of mixing water. Results showed that the addition of superplasticizer admixture improved workability and compressive strength. The experiment program included tests on workability, slump test, and flow table. For hardened concrete’s compressive strength test, we compared the properties of superplasticizer-based concrete with those of concrete without superplasticizer. The superplasticizer led to a significant water reduction but maintained workability.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116657320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The neural mechanism underlying motor training has attracted increased neuroimaging explorations. Related neuroimaging studies demonstrated that resting-state can offer the possibility to examine the neural mechanism of motor execution training. However, motor imagery training, as another part of motor training, has been few investigated. To address this issue, eigenvector centrality mapping (ECM) method was applied to explore functional connectivity of resting-state in motor imagery training. As a data-driven analysis method, although ECM can assess the computational measurement of eigenvector centrality for capturing intrinsic neural architecture on a voxel-wise level without any prior assumptions, it is still limited in application for making pseudo enhancement in some nodes or zero centrality in all nodes. In this study, we proposed an improved ECM by adding threshold, dispersion coefficient, weighted coefficient and the initial parameters referring to Google Webpage search ranking algorithm, and applied the proposed ECM to functional connectivity measure of resting-state before and after motor imagery training. The proposed ECM showed the advantage of automatic discharge weak links and the enhancement in node ordering resolution comparing with the original ECM. The results from voxel-based comparison of the centrality between the resting-state after and before motor imagery training revealed that the significantly increased eigenvector centrality was detected in the precuneus and medial frontal gyrus for the experimental group while no significant alterations were found for the control group after training. These alterations may be related to the spatial information integration and inner state modulation of motor imagery training, and further provided new insights into the understanding of the neural mechanism underlying motor imagery training.","PeriodicalId":443735,"journal":{"name":"DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116661181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
