This research uses observation and feasible study methods based on marketing theory, and investment financial management theory. It is highly likely by potential tourists as an attraction that can openly present natural beauty, as an environmentally-friendly tourist attraction, a unique tourist attraction in Bali, will provide public facilities, telecommunications, restaurants, and agro product market centers, proximity to the city center, availability of transportation to the location, easy access to locations, and community friendliness towards tourist arrivals. The economic aspect where analysis of market opportunities is based on estimated sales data for four types of services: cable cars, restaurants, UFO glass platform attraction, and under the park and agritourist. The findings of this study reinforce the method and theory that business-oriented development planning must go through a feasible study of at least two important aspects, namely aspects of market potential, and aspects of investment management which are expected to be profitable for investors.","PeriodicalId":44367,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics","volume":"608 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90450686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Malnutrition can endanger human life, particularly that of children. Honey, which has a high nutritional value, is one of the components that can be utilized to alleviate malnutrition. Zinc tablets, in addition to honey, are thought to boost hemoglobin (Hb) and albumin levels. Zinc, as an antioxidant and catalyst for biochemical events, aids in organ healing, particularly by restoring the role of enzymes in the process of food metabolism in the body. This study was conducted as an experimental study with a pretest-posttest design and a control group. Thirty Wistar rats were randomly distributed into six groups of five rats. The average Hb and albumin levels in the group of rats differ significantly, both in the single treatment and the combination of normal rats and malnutrition control. The groups that were given zinc and honey once a day had the greatest rise in hemoglobin, which was 0.5 g/dl (3.10%). The groups who received zinc and honey twice a day had the greatest rise in albumin (1.99 g/dl) (163.11%).","PeriodicalId":44367,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics","volume":"106 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76113826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this control method has chattering problems due to high-frequency switching. To cope with the shortcoming, an artificial intelligence (AI) method is utilized in the traditional SMC to eliminate or reduce this chattering problem. This paper investigates an adaptive fuzzy logic system combined with SMC algorithm to alleviate the problem. Fuzzy logic is chosen due to its advantages in tackling nonlinear properties using if-then thinking, whereas SMC method can be applied due to its ability to reject disturbance control. The inverted pendulum is selected as a controlled object and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink to investigate this control method. By combining the fuzzy logic system and the SMC approach, the chattering problems can be adaptively reduced on the line trajectory tracking signal. The adaptive fuzzy SMC achieved better performance with fast response compared with previous literature algorithms for similar plants.","PeriodicalId":44367,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79164380","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hence, a repellent agent from natural sources of plant essential oil was introduced. Some of the plants which have the repellent potential are catnip, hairy basil, citronella, vetiver, clove, and citrus. Citronellal, citronellol, geraniol, eugenol, eugenol-acetate, and beta-caryophyllene are among the repellent active components in these plants. Citrus hystrix (kaffir lime) was known for several applications in food, health, and skincare, but its potential as mosquito repellent is still new. This overview paper highlights the potential of kaffir lime essential oil as a mosquito repellent and the encapsulation of essential oil related to mosquito repellent. Several studies on kaffir lime essential oil as mosquito repellent was conducted and revealed that the major repellent active components are citronellol and limonene. Pure kaffir lime essential oil provides one-hour repellent protection against the mosquito. However, an addition of 5% vanillin prolongs the protection time to three hours. Essential oil is easily vaporized at room temperature which shortens its effectiveness time. Encapsulation of the essential oil would control the vaporization process and hence prolong its efficiency. Nonetheless, almost no research work reported on the encapsulation of kaffir lime essential oil and the release mechanism of the encapsulated kaffir lime.","PeriodicalId":44367,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82370848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particulate matter (PM2.5) is a pollutant that has an aerodynamic diameter of fewer than 2.5 micrometers and very easy to enter the human respiratory system so it can affect health. In the dry season, rain as the main natural mechanism for reducing PM2.5 occurs very rarely, causing an accumulation of PM2.5 concentrations in the atmosphere. The weather research and forecasting model coupled with chemistry (WRF-Chem) model is a dynamic model that works with atmospheric chemistry combined with meteorological variables simultaneously. This study aims to simulate the concentration of PM2.5 in Jakarta during the high air pollution episode from 20 to 29 June 2019 with the WRF-Chem model based on the T1-MOZCART chemical scheme. Spatial analysis was conducted to determine the distribution of PM2.5 concentrations during high air pollution episodes in Jakarta. Validation of the simulation model was based on three observation sites, one in South Jakarta and two in Central Jakarta. The results showed that the highest correlation is 0.3 and the lowest root mean square error (RMSE) is 26.4, while the simulations still tend to overestimate the PM2.5 concentration.","PeriodicalId":44367,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics","volume":"7 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.9,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91186090","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
