This overall space is called the active space and is obtained with vector representations of all valid switching states (SS) of the converter that has to be modulated. The vector representations of all valid SS are obtained from the Clarke transformation of terminal voltages obtained at ac terminals of the converter for respective switching states. In this paper simple alternative method has been presented to find α, β & γ components for a given SS. It can produce exactly same results as those computed by Clarke transformation. In this paper, Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA) based optimization is performed to address the optimal power flow (OPF) problem governed by contribution factor based ranking and nodal congestion price based ranking in order to achieve congestion relief and maximum economic benefit with desired voltage level and minimum system loss. The microgrid under consideration is in OFF grid condition and hence one of the inverters is designed as master and the remaining are designed for slave mode of operation. A state-of-the-art synchronization strategy is developed for the initial synchronization of the inverter during startup period. The microgrid synchronism is then maintained with this master-slave configuration of inverters and the amount of load that can be fed to the microgrid, is adjusted or decided by the user. The control strategy is so designed that the load can always be fed at unity power factor. The SPWM technique and an output filter are utilized to reduce the voltage harmonics to a minimum level and thus produce an almost sinusoidal terminal voltage. A 3-electrode configuration was used to study the voltammogram where Polyacrylamide/Exfoliated Graphite composite (PAM/EGC) was used as the working electrode. Data obtained from the tea samples were subjected to multivariate data analysis techniques viz. Radar plot, Box plot and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). But there is no optimum method as these scenarios are unpredictable and all situations are unique in their own way. Dark channel prior - a new prior-gives a significant prediction about the quantity of airlight that causes haze. Dark channel with contrast controller and sky masking improves the visibility with significantly reduced time. The system comprises of a single-rod cylinder having non-linear friction characteristics and industry grade proportional valve possessing a large-deadband. A controller has been developed based on an input linearized system model involving the combination of a sliding mode and a deadband controller. An adaptive strategy for the controller parameters relying on a Lyapunov function has been introduced to handle the nonlinearities and uncertainties involved in the system. Congestion occurs when undesirable transaction occurs through transmission lines during the transportation of electricity from generation to load centre. It is the duty of Independent System Operator (ISO) to ensure secure, reliable electricity transaction while facing the transmission congestion threat. This article presents a well known congestion management methodology i.e. rescheduling of generator output power in deregulated electricity market. In this work, firstly generator sensitivity factor (GSF) is calculated and based on these GSF values few generators are selected to reschedule their output for congestion management. A new meta-heuristic algorithm i.e. Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) has been adopted to reduce the generator rescheduling cost. Twin Rotor MIMO System (TRMS) kit is a prototype of a helicopter designed for conducting laboratory experiments. The most common and simplest technique is to use a PID controller for the design process. Here in this paper we propose a simple design and implementation of an I-PD controller. We compare the results obtained from PID controller and I-PD controller and the results are found to be more satisfactory in case of I-PD controller.
