In, the proposed configuration, the solar energy, after MPPT tracking, is finally channeled into a three phase AC grid by first boosting up the DC voltage level and then converting the boosted DC voltage into three-phase AC by means of a grid-tie inverter. The control of the pulse-width modulated (PWM) three phase inverter is realized similar in line with field-oriented control of electrical AC machines, using dq transformation along with feed-forward compensation. The practical and effective design steps are clearly explained to find out the controller parameters. The displacement factor at grid end is maintained unity and distortion of the current, fed into the grid, is restricted as per the IEEE-1547 standard. The analytical findings and simulation results are well agreeing.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125069860","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The suggested technique is the mixture of Cuckoo Search (CS) and Bat algorithm. Now, the multi objective function is employed to get the optimal operation and management of MG. Using the fuel cost with the operating and maintenance cost of the MG sources like Fuel Cell (FC), Micro Turbine (MT) and Diesel Generator (DG) the multi-objective function is improved. The suggested technique optimizes the MG source combinations with cheap cost, while pleasing the load demand. The suggested technique is used to determine the optimal combination of the MG source and their minimum costs, in order to please the load demand. In the MATLAB/SIMULINK platform the suggested method is executed and the performance assessment is performed by comparing the suggested technique with the presented techniques. The outcome, attained exposes the advantage of the suggested method and it is very much improved than that of other techniques.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130277693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of the literature on Z-source inverters deals with 3-phase or 1-phase bridge inverters. This paper proposes a Single-Phase Z-Source Push-Pull Inverter topology. This scheme has several advantages compared to basic Z-source full-bridge inverter. Simulation result of the converter is presented as the proof of the concept.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134405437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The soft switching with zero current turns on so the lagging leg of the main switch is achieved ZVS during turned off time to improve the performance of the converter. Thus, it is far better to use power MOSFET as a very high switching frequency power device due to the natural voltage fed nature of the buck converters so overall efficiency be significant with the proper designing of the power inductor, selection of the active and passive power devices and discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) of the operation.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127573721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this analysis, real power, load angle and bus voltage have been calculated and the shifting of the various operating points in the inter-harmonic and sub-synchronous inter-harmonic P-δ curves have been assessed, for different feeders. The technique has been implemented in IEEE 30 bus system. Considerable change has been seen for fundamental and sub-synchronous inter-harmonic operating points in P-δ plane.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128689511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First of all, the Taylor series, both first and second order, are utilized to solve the state equation of a linear time invariant (LTI) system recursively. Subsequently, a recursive algorithm is proposed for solving an LTI system with delay. The states of the system solved using Taylor series are compared with exact solutions. The approach is much simpler than other established methods, and also, it proves to be reasonably accurate. The recursive algorithm presented avoids the use of any delay matrices. As expected, for same number of recursion steps, the second order Taylor series solution proves to be more efficient than the first order Taylor series approach. Examples are treated and the results obtained are presented via tables and graphs.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127087963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The comparator outputs in a flash ADC are in the so-called `thermometer code' form. Because of device mismatch, clock jitter, offset voltage and metastability problems prevalent in a flash ADC, it suffers from bubble or sparkle error problem. This thus leads to an erroneous output code with consequent disastrous performance. Several researchers have attempted to overcome the bubble error problem with various bubble error correction (BEC) schemes but with limited success. An attempt has been made in this paper to correct the bubble error - the degree of correction vary from the first order to any higher order. Simulations have been carried out on the proposed circuit - both for first and second orders. It has been established that it requires lesser number of transistors and thus would consume less power.","PeriodicalId":443343,"journal":{"name":"2016 2nd International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Energy & Communication (CIEC)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125148552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
