Roy","doi":"10.1109/CIEC.2016.7513669","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CIEC.2016.7513669","url":null,"abstract":"Wireless sensor/actuator networks (“sensornets”) represents a new computing class consisting of large number of nodes which are often embedded in their distributed operating environments. The emergence of this new computing class raises many system design challenges. One of the major challenges is to develop a very lightweight routing protocol which can run on this low powered, low memory equipped tiny devices. Traditional routing algorithm such as DV, AODV, Link-State, Dijkstra etc requires routing table along with other data structure which is not suitable in the case of sensornets. ZigBee alliance has proposed a routing protocol which works on mathematical formula and consumes less resources but it has limitation on network breadth depth etc. We addressed network depth problem in our paper “Address Borrowing in Wireless Personal Area Network” [1], addressed network breadth problem in our papers “Single Level Address Reorganization In Wireless Personal Area Network” [2] & “Multilevel Address Reorganization Type 2 I N Wireless Personal Area Network”[3]. Similarly we tried to tackle linear network problem in our paper “WPAN Routing Using Huffman Technique” [4]. We have addressed link failure problem of dynamic network in our paper “Multi Channel Personal Area Network (MCPAN) Formation and Routing” [5]. Now here in this paper we will discuss about a routing framework which can be applied in any operating space. It uses all the techniques discussed so far in above mentioned papers. Reproduction of reliable data has been achieved by controlling the errors in a noisy environment. To control this errors data has been coded properly by considering different coding techniques. Turbo Code (TC) is considered as one of the high-performance forward error correcting coding schemes which approaches to the Shannon limit. Here, a novel Parallel Concatenated Convolution Turbo code (PCCTC) has been proposed to improve the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance portentously by allocating optimized power in systematic and parity bits. BER performance of the system has been improved by using two symmetrical convolutional encoders. A single phase half bridge inverter topology does not inject dc into the grid, but its output voltage has only three levels, thus lower power quality. This paper proposes a transformer-less topology for improving the power quality of the inverter output voltage, and increasing its power rating. Level and phase shifted sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (LPSPWM) technique is used for PWM generation. The proposed fuzzy PID controller is designed by adding control actions of fuzzy PI and fuzzy PD controllers with proper scaling factors. The set-point weighting factor is obtained online through a simple fuzzy inference system based on process change of error. The proposed fuzzy set-point weighting scheme offers a considerable amount of performance improvement for second order linear and nonlinear processes compared to other well-known set-point weighting techniques. This fact has been verified through simulation study and real time implementation on a DC servo position control system. Placement of capacitor of optimal sizes and at optimal locations not only reduces the power losses, but also improves the voltage stability of the electric power systems. Several meta-heuristic techniques have been used by Scientists and researchers over the years to address the problems of capacitor placements. They are very effective and powerful in comparison with conventional methods in solving complex nonlinear constrained optimization problems. But one of the major difficulties for these methods is the premature convergence. A new improved hybrid technique is introduced in this paper that addresses the issues of premature convergence successfully for the present problem. The accuracy, performance and effectiveness are authenticated by testing the algorithm proposed in the present paper on a test system. The present paper also compares the results with those obtained by applying several other modern techniques such as fuzzy reasoning, plant growth simulation algorithm, opposition based differential evolution. Proper control of Superheated steam temperature is extremely important as high temperature can damage the superheater or high pressure turbine and low temperature will reduce the efficiency of power plant. Therefore, the Superheated temperature is to be controlled by adjusting the flow of spray water to within +/-10 deg C during transient states and +/-5 deg C at the steady state. In this paper, the Control using fuzzy gain adaptation of PID controller is presented. Fuzzy rules are utilized on-line to determine the controller parameters based on error and its first time derivative. Simulation and experimental results of the proposed scheme show good performances compared to the PID controller with fixed parameters in terms of dynamic and steady state characteristics of all loops. According to the current association method which is based on Receive Signal Strength Index(RSSI), the user first identify its convenient APs and associate with the strongest AP, excluding the fact whether that AP is overloaded or not. In current scenario, the wireless network is increasingly being connected to a wired backbone. This allows the AP's out of band communication among them and leaves opportunities for improved protocol design. As users are not always uniformly distributed in real time networks, some AP's goes through heavy load and some sits idle. In this paper we have tried to modify the existing system by introducing a novel WLAN network architecture that consists of a Master AP, connected to a wired backbone network which will periodically gather information about different subordinate APs connected to it. The coverage of Master AP is much greater so that it can cover the entire area of all other subordinate APs. The Master AP sends the beacon packet which contains the RSSI and existing load of subordinate AP/ APs, if the user is in coverage area of those subordinate AP/APs. This paper mainly concentrated on how the existing load of different subordinate APs will be calculated in Master AP. The existing beacon format (based on RSSI) is modified so that it can also send the existing load with the RSSI field to mobile nodes which are in the coverage of subordinate AP/APs. As a result, the nodes can make a proper judgment on which AP to connect, not only based on RSSI but also by checking the existing load of that AP. With advancement of technologies the cost of renewable energy equipments is going down globally encouraging large scale solar photovoltaic installations. This massive scale of solar photovoltaic deployment requires sophisticated systems for automation of the plant monitoring remotely using web based interfaces as majority of them are installed in inaccessible locations and thus unable to be monitored from a dedicated location. The discussion in this paper is based on implementation of new cost effective methodology based on IoT to remotely monitor a solar photovoltaic plant for performance evaluation.
