The result shown computer I with processor type Intel Core i7-7500U has better speedup performance ( 3.291493 times of serial computing) than Computer II with processor type AMD Ryzen 5 2400G. Meanwhile, using computer II, the speedup of parallel computing is obtained 3.751561 times of serial computing. Indeed this discrepancy occurs because of the processor type of Computer I is higher than Computer II. Moreover, the efficiency of Computer II is 11.5% lower than computer II which is conducted 91.1367% efficiency. This means using Computer II the ability of parallel codes to achieve best performance proportional to the number of processor is obtained. Furthermore, the numerical simulation using UDCHR is shown in a good agreement with the staggered grid scheme of two-layer SWE and SWE-Exner model.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129084739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even so, the plan execution, including recovery actions to any prevailed irregularities, has a considerable impact on airline efficiency. Those activities produce a vast amount of operational data which contains valuable insights for businesses. This study aims to quantitively evaluate the operational efficiency in the airline scheduling and execution process by implementing big data analytics approach. Parameters for calculation are obtained from prior studies. These parameters are calculated using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method to get efficiency scores for each operation process every month. Finally, we argue that the data analytics approach is beneficial to be implemented in airlines and find a decreasing trend in the efficiency score of the sample airline during 2017-2018.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115748538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It also impacts to health, economic, traffic, and tourism of the nation. The air quality monitoring stations have been applied to measure the air quality factors in their surrounding area. However, the number of monitoring stations in developing countries may not be enough to cover the area. This paper proposes a framework to spatially predict the particulate matter concentration in the area without monitoring station. The proposed framework, called PAMS framework, consists of two components, which are 1) DUSTRY which is a particulate matter monitoring station to be deployed in a reference location, and 2) SPM which is a spatial prediction model to apply spatial interpolation technique and machine learning technique to provide the particulate matter concentration value in the area without monitoring station. This paper also explores the results from the variety of components in the PAMS. Two spatial interpolation techniques (i.e., IDW:Inverse Distance Weigh and Kriging) are compared. The evaluation results show that the the PAMS can spatially predict particulate matter concentration value with the average 10.16% error by using the Kriging technique with seven inputs for machine learning.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124779461","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fairy tales become one of reading contents that are good for children growth, because it can arise children imagination. However, there is no reading content categorization for Indonesian fairy tale stories. Therefore, in this research, a Reading Level System was proposed to rank reading contents for Indonesian children. Adopting Dolch Sight Word Vocabulary, it enabled to build text clustering using the occurrences of empirical probability of words for each Dolch Sight Word Vocabulary in a fairy tale. The values of empirical probability levels were calculated for each fairy tale and the results of calculating the highest probability value for each fairy tale using the Majority Voting Algorithm. The results found that the majority of Reading Level System using Dolch Sight Word Vocabulary were level 3 and level 4, where at these levels the words component of the Dolch Sight words were larger than the rest two levels.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129640718","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Word2Vec is a model used to represent words into vector shapes. The model in this experiment was formed using the 4GB Indonesian Wikipedia corpus and then used the cosine similarity calculation method to determine its similarity value. This model is then tested with the gold standard set WordSim-353 and SimLex-999 which have been labeled with similarity values according to human ratings. To find out the accuracy of the correlation using the Pearson correlation. The results of the correlation of this study are 0.5663 for WordSim-353 test data using window size 14 and dimensions vector 150, and 0.3472 for SimLex-999 test data using window size 2 and dimensions vector 300. The results of the experiments show that the correlation between the gold standard and system techniques is still relatively weak.Our source code and data are available at : https://github.com/louistenmanalu/Word2Vec-Analysis-for-Indonesia-Languange.git","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"371 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134023399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The degradation factor of BP to MS is found to do expansion and optimization based on hardware working manner. The decoding algorithm summarized a correction approximate algorithm based on different SNR situations and hardware implementation. The simulation is based on LDPC NR 3GPP 38.212 release and the comparison results showed the proposed check nodes correction approximate Min-sum decoding algorithm can have a better BER and iteration time performance. The hardware of this proposed algorithm is based on Min-sum decoder and the extra cost is only a shifter and an adder besides the memory.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125154878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To this aim, we propose a new feature detector (FD) based on the likelihood-ratio test (LRT), which suggests us to employ the stationarity of received signals for the signal detection. As such, the detection performance can be greatly enhanced by the proposed technique without needing any channel equalization techniques on received signals. Additionally, two major synchronization impairments are considered which were often neglected in conventional detectors. According to simulation results, the performance of the proposed detector can achieve the detection probability of 0.9 under the false-alarm rate of 0.1 and vehicular speed of 100 km/hr.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"63 6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120912081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Participants see a presentation slide show on a particular screen or white painted the wall. However, sometimes, problems occur when the projectors' equipment is not available to the presentation process does not run optimally. Other problems such as projector damage or dead pixel conditions and rainbow effects on the projector often interfere with the display permanently. A presentation without using a projector is one solution to overcome problems that have been proposed in previous research. However, there is still a particular server that is used by presenters and PCs to access those used by clients. The solution to overcome this problem, in this study, will be developed a system that can carry out the activity of sharing presentation between presenter and audience without using a projector. The presenter only requires an ordinary laptop or PC connected to a wireless network. Participants as clients can access the presentation display via a smartphone that is connected to the same wireless network as the server. The system built consists of two main applications: Screen Sharing Server and Screen Sharing Client, which allows sharing of views by implementing a socket web on its data communication model. Test results with 20 smartphone audiences can see the presentation results from the presenter's laptop. The presentation was successfully carried out with the concept of screen sharing in real-time without using additional projectors and computers, no need for cables and without the need for an internet connection.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121149748","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study seeks to explore the gaps between the practice of networking among new start-up firms and industry. This paper employs quantitative research design involving self-reporting questionnaires. Founders and co-founders of technology companies (n=255) are surveyed as respondents and data collected are analysed using Partial Least Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique to examine the reliability, goodness-of-fit, predictive strength, and strength of relationship of independent and mediating variables with the dependent variable. Findings show that weak ties affect the entrepreneur’s ability to recognise opportunity. Entrepreneurs who possesses wider social contacts benefits from a wide array of information which plays a key role to opportunity previously not recognised either due to lack of information or resources to exploit. To identify opportunities, a weak tie network is best suited to spark the imagination of entrepreneurs in novel ideas. In practice, the use of networking programs in entrepreneurial and incubation initiatives needs to focus on networking heterogenous groups. The clear delineation of the opportunity construct within the entrepreneurship studies enables progress to be made in building a clearer opportunity recognition framework. Empirical results also support the presence of entrepreneurial alertness as the mediator in the model.","PeriodicalId":439440,"journal":{"name":"2019 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT)","volume":"191 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121313420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
