Mainly driven by tidal, the sea level predictions can be used for analyzing the disposal and movements of sediments, tracers and pollutants, off-shore engineering constructions, environmental observations, as well as for ship navigation. Prediction of tides usually use tidal harmonic analysis for long term tidal predictions. However, this tide harmonic analysis has several drawbacks i.e. the method can not be used for short-term and real-time forecasting or instant prediction. Moreover, the method requires a large number of tidal data measurements to obtain accurate prediction. In this paper, we propose a sea level prediction by using Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model approach, namely the Nonlinear Autoregressive Neural Network (NAR). The method is applied for predicting sea level in Tanjung Emas Harbor in Semarang, Indonesia. We compare results of the prediction by using NAR with prediction by using tidal harmonic analysis. The accuracy of the prediction is measured by calculating the RMSE value and R value. NAR produces R value 0.9566 for training data and 0.9567 for prediction data. The choice of number of hidden layers in the NAR can also affects the results of prediction, in term of RMSE value and R value. To date, there is no disease-modifying medication that could help to reduce the key toxic peptide in AD pathogenesis, amyloid beta (Aβ), in brain. This study is aimed to identify potential therapeutic agents that targeted on BACE1-interacting protein, RanBP9, from a natural compounds library. From the virtual drug screening and ADMET prediction result, compound 9 (ZINC8299685) and compound 15 (ZINC5415832) were identified as potential therapeutic agents in this study. Both compound 9 and 15 have low binding energy to the targeted protein, which are −8.3 and −7.6 kcal/mol, respectively. Besides that, both of the compounds possess desirable physiochemical and pharmacokinetics properties, including drug-likeness and bioavailability. Every year, the number of tourists coming to Bandung is increasing. However, most tourists do not have enough information to organize a tour for visiting several touristic places. Therefor a system for tour scheduling is needed to help tourist to enjoy their holiday. Here, we develop a tour scheduling system using the Firefly Algorithm. This algorithm generally is used to solve Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). The Firefly algorithm generates tour scheduling based on three criteria of user needs, such as distance, popularity and budget. We calculate these three criteria with the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT). Each criterion has a priority value from user. We use the result of MAUT as a fitness of Firefly Algorithm. The Firefly algorithm also considers opening hours and closing hours for each tourist attractions. This system also recommends some hotels based on two criteria, i.e., distance and facilities. We calculate these two criteria using MAUT. For evaluation, we compare n-days tour scheduling modeled by one step optimization, with per-day tour optimization (n-steps). We employ some parameters, i.e., running time, fitness value and number of visited destinations. Based on the experiment, the running time of per-day tour optimization is 7% faster than one-step optimization. Meanwhile, the fitness value of per-day tour optimization is 14% higher than one-step optimization. In addition, the number of nodes in tour of per-day tour optimization is 30% more than one step optimization. Here, numerical method is used to approximate the gas flow equation which consists of continuity, momentum, and energy equations. The gas flow equation is simulated and compared with analytical solution in order to show the convergence of the numerical method. Here, the result of numerical solution of nozzle gas flow is obtained in a good agreement with the analytical solution. Using discrete L1- and L2-norm error measurements, the errors of mach number are observed 2.5977 × 10−07 and 1.6620 × 10−07 respectively for 6400 discrete points. The performances of parallel computing are evaluated by two computers, AMD Ryzen 5 2400G (PC 1) and Intel i7 4790 (PC 2). The speedup and efficiency of parallel computing in PC 1 is shown better than PC 2. However, CPU time of parallel computing using PC 2 is shown slightly better than PC 1. The speedup in PC 1 and PC 2 is observed 4 times up to 5 times using grid points more than 1000 points and 8 threads. Common Evaluation Methodology (CEM) mentions that Common Criteria Framework must use ISO 15408. This research used ISO 15408 as a guideline for analyzing, designing, and documenting the system security requirements in a more complete and comprehensive smart parking gate. The initial stage of Common Criteria Framework is to analyze the threats that might occur on the system. This research refers to the threat tree analysis in ISO 15446 to obtain a list of threats that may occur in the system. Based on the threat tree analysis, there were 6 threats to the system built. The next step is mapping the threats to security objectives and obtaining 7 Security Objectives (SO). At the end of this study, the functional requirement of security for the system referring to the references obtained in the previous stage were analyzed. Therefore, 17 Security Functional Requirements (SFR) were obtained. In this paper, we propose a method for parallelizing uniformization by performing its computation on graphic processing units residing on several computers communicating with each other via message passing interface. Since Markov chain models are usually sparse, hypergraph partition is used to reduce communications among the computers when performing repeated sparse matrix-vector multiplication operations. This method of parallelization in principle allows for unlimited scalability while still maintains computation speed. Indeed, our results show that the proposed method can solve large models faster. Power saving is one of the concerns of researchers to continue to be improved. The addition of predictions will increase the ability to save power on the use of smart home devices in the future. Through prediction, the system can decide when the lights are used and when the lights are not used. Therefore, an IoT-based smart light system that can predict the state of the lamp based on sensor data is needed. In this paper ANN algorithm is used to predict the state of the lamp. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the performance of the ANN by entering data from the light system based on the presence of lecturers using magnetic door and infrared sensors. The accuracy of the ANN application is influenced by the lamp state pattern. The result shows that an accuracy of 58.17% for training data and 52.54% for test data in predicting the state of the lamp. The significant power saving is calculated using Wilcoxon Method. Quran has a total of 30 juzs, divided into 144 surahs and arranged of 6,236 verses and in the Quran discuss different topics and have many entities too, so someone sometimes has difficulty understanding the Quran. To make it easier to understand the Quran, we can get identification of essential entities in the Quran such as names of the people in the Quran. One way to do it is by extracting information on essential entities in Quran is with Named Entity Recognition (NER). NER automatically recognizes essential entities such as the people’s names at the Quran. This paper builds a system for identifying the entity of the people in the Quran using CRF techniques with a multiple choice approach where the system will be introduced with a range of possibilities from the entity and adjusted to an input given to be able to detect entities. To facilitate it, learning visual communication was needed because children with autism were better at receiving information visually than orally. The application of visual communication learning for children with autism developed in digital media used the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) method. However, there was still a weakness in the development of digital media for example; there were no stages in the communication learning process. Therefore, this study modeled a prototype of “Belajar Komunikasi” (BERAKSI) on a mobile application to correct deficiencies in the development of communication learning. The method used to produce an interface that fits the needs and ability of the children with autism was the Goal-Directed Design (GDD) method. To find out the level of success of usability from the prototype, then testing used by usability goals needed for children with autism, namely easy to use, learnability, feedback and good error messages, adequate help and document, appealing interface with the result of usability testing 78% in the excellent category. The Greedy splitting is a major of the element in text segmentation. The previous weakness of this method, we need to define how many segments should be provided(K). The nature of segmentation does not provide the number of segments (K). In this research, greedy splitting was improved by applying window approaching, to minimize the greedy process by defining the number of sentences or words that would be examined. We assumed there only two segments on the local block or one splitting by getting the lowest score. We conducted the experiments by Quran as dataset and compared with other segmentation algorithms. The results showed that the proposed method was average at 0.68 (WindofDiff). Whereas TextTiling was reached 0.74, C99 at 0.743 and Original Greedy at 0.83 also the number of K segments could be searched by itself.
