According to the world health organization (WHO) around fifty million people are suffering from epilepsy which is caused by the neurological disorder. Sudden and abrupt seizures are acknowledged as epilepsy. Seventy percent of the epileptic patients belong to the lower and middle-class countries. Seizures are very complex to predict as they are very sudden and it is very hard to discriminate the neurological signals. Seizures are due to the redundant discharge of electrical signals from brain cells. Several artificial intelligence based and deep learning based methodologies have been applied to detect seizures as they are dangerous to the growth of the brain. Classification and patterns of brain signals were classified using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of brain has also been performed to identify the flash floods. The identification of seizures in hospitals is acknowledged as expensive as the EEG signals and MRI testing equipment are very costly. According to the WHO mostly the epileptic patients belong to the poor countries therefore a cost-effective solution is needed. Seventy percent of the epileptic patients can live a normal life if it was properly diagnosed and treated. In this research paper a novel cost-effective solution has been presented for the vigorous prediction of the seizures in epileptic patients. Several methodologies and case studies have been studied by researchers but cannot be acknowledged as cost-effective as researchers used EEG and MRI signals. In this research paper a cost-effective hardware model has been designed and Modified cuckoo search has been applied to predict the seizures. This is because the authentication techniques using biometrics are safer and more comfortable than using traditional passwords. In order to realize this, a technique in the biometric cryptosystem is proposed in the research, called the fuzzy vault scheme. Although the fingerprint data in the form of minutiae can be protected with a fuzzy vault scheme compared to traditional authentication systems, it can reduce user convenience. Previous studies proposed a distance-based method in the fuzzy vault scheme. The distance-based method is proposed because it is no need to align and rotate the fingerprint image during registration or authentication. Then with the distance-based method also does not produce a helper data that can lead to information leakage that can be exploited by impostor. In the research, the distance-based method is proposed with several modifications, which are the minutiae filter and candidate points identification techniques. However, most of them are designed for images distorted by compression, noise and blurring. There are very few IQAs designed specifically for CDI, e.g. Contrast distortion may be caused by poor lighting condition and poor-quality image acquisition device. No Reference-Image Quality Assessment (NR-IQA) for Contrast-Distorted Images (NR-IQA-CDI) is one of these few IQAs. The five features used in NR-IQA-CDI are the global spatial statistics of an image including the mean, standard deviation, entropy, kurtosis and skewness. Unfortunately, the performance of NR-IQA-CDI are not encouraging in two of the three test image databases, TID2013 and CSIQ, where the Pearson Linear Correlation Coefficients are only around 0.57 and 0.76, respectively. Therefore, this paper presents the reason which led to poor results in existing NR-IQA-CDI. Relevant departments of the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life have as mission to monitor and control the propagation of diseases. The primary objective of this paper is to provide the ministry with a system that displays in real time the disease status over the island. The system also predicts the propagation of diseases allowing the ministry to better plan remedial actions. The system consists of three mobile crowdsourcing applications that allow the public, doctors and pharmacies to report diseases and drugs sales in real time. Data regarding diseases for the year 2017 were retrieved and the corresponding daily weather information namely as temperature, humidity and wind for that year was then extracted and added to this dataset. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) was then trained with this dataset and then used to predict the propagation of the diseases which can be monitored by the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life through another application. The prediction was performed based on the number of reported diseases on the current day along with weather forecasts for the forthcoming days and the results were promising. The model has been evaluated resulting in an accuracy of 90%. The security of our schemes is based on the hardness of the Megrelishvili Vector-Matrix Problem (MVMP). We prove the correctness of our schemes mathematically and argue that they are at least as secure as the authenticated Megrelishvili protocol. Moreover, we demonstrate that both signature creation and verification take polynomial amount of finite field operations. Our few-time signature scheme allows a restriction to the message owner so that he can only certify at most n messages whenever the vector space $mathbb{F}_q^n$ is used. This paper presents a routing algorithm in DTN that achieves the delivery ratio within the given deadline requirements by evaluating the capability of a node to deliver a message to its destination on the basis of destination-dependent and destination-independent attributes of the encountered node. The protocol dynamically adjusts the number of message copies based on our previous works [13] and chooses the most suitable relay node by taking the delivery probability to the destination and the remaining energy level of nodes into account. Epidemic routing forwards a copy message to each contacted node to achieve a high network delivery performance; this however easily burdens the network nodes with high traffic load, quickly depleting the node’s resources, e.g. power and storage, and finally degrading the network delivery performance. This paper proposes an interest-based Epidemic that improves Epidemic to be a content-aware forwarding by taking message content, node interest, and node community into consideration. Using simulation, driven by real human contact datasets, we investigate the performance of the proposed algorithm compared with Epidemic (content-oblivious) and Direct Transmission (content-aware), in terms of total delivered messages, average convergence time, and total relayed messages. Simulation results show that Epidemic-Interest outperforms Direct Transmission in terms of total delivered message and average convergence time. There are so Prophet SAW’s friends who followed his journey and had an important role in spreading Islam. There are still many people who do not know and have difficult time to finding the names of the friends who participated in the Prophet SAW’s journey. Therefore, this research will make an indexing of the names that appear in the nine narrators’ hadith collections. This indexing names uses Named Entity Recognition (NER) because indexing names only need entities in the form of people names. To make indexing names in hadith collections, this research will be use Hidden Markov Model (HMM) as a method. HMM is very often used in previous research and often gets quite good performance scores. Using the HMM’s method and using several combinations of features, the system has a pretty good performance by counting recall, precision and F-1 for by calculating this performance. The values of performance were obtained using HMM’s method are 86%. ABC has to innovate their business strategy in boosting up their train ticket sales. Following the technologies nowadays, the availability of ICT-based infrastructure is one of the most useful indicators to build up smart mobility. Therefore, the company launched its official mobile application named ABC Access in 2016. It is an official mobile application from PT. ABC that helps customers to order, manage and assist themselves with the service from pre, on until post train trip. However, the usage of application is still below the expectation hence it is the challenge that the company should find out the factors to increase the adoption of ABC Access. This study intends to analyze factors influencing the continuance intention of using ABC Access. The study’s framework used in this study is adapted from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 which is added with a new factor, namely System Quality. The data were collected from 409 valid respondents through purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed by using SmartPLS 3.0 software and the result revealed that the factors influence continuance intention of using ABC Access from the highest to the lowest respectively are Hedonic Motivation, System Quality, Habit, and Performance Expectancy. The model can strongly predict the Continuance Intention of consumer towards ABC Access since the R2 is 72%.
