Moreover, data integration involves matching of schema metadata and data across databases. Also, the databases contain personally identifying information and other sensitive information of individuals. Most of the privacy preserving data integration techniques are vulnerable to linking/re-identification attacks and some of them compromise accuracy while maintaining privacy of integrated data. Thus, protecting privacy of schemas or ontologies and data is a crucial requirement during data integration. This survey provides the various challenges, review of existing work and research directions for privacy preserving data integration.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121238059","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The steps involved in FR are classified into two types: 1) face verification and 2) face classification. In recent years, the face verification systems are well-developed, but still face classification algorithms are facing problems like poor outcome in severe lighting variations, illuminance, face pose variation, etc. In order to overcome these difficulties, we propose Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with Principal Component Analysis (PCA) by considering different contributions of the training samples (ORL and YALE B dataset). At first, the facial images are enhanced by using DualTree Complex Wavelet Transform (DTCWT) approach. The preprocessed facial image features are extracted by employing PCA method. Using the feature information, the facial classification is achieved by using ANFIS classifier. Experimental outcome shows that the proposed approach improved accuracy in face detection up to 0.2–0.8% compared to the neural network (existing method).","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127533749","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most of the legacy routing protocols for MANETs are primarily the shortest path routing protocols and do not concern with the energy awareness. Use of single-path routing protocols in MANETs will create hindrance while transmitting data in the network, because the data load is not shared across many paths like multipath routing protocol. Thus, the authors have proposed an Energy Efficient Node Disjoint Multipath Routing Protocol (E2NDjMRP) which is energy aware and uses shortest hop count with dynamic transmission range adjustment to determine the primary path and secondary paths. E2NDjMRP enhances the overall performance of the network in terms of power consumed, control overhead and energy efficiency. The simulation results are obtained using NS-2 and are encouraging.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"100 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117252899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An adaptive dc-link voltage control of PCU during FRT is proposed here. The method suggested here for controlling dc link voltage by checking any changes in grid voltage during FRT. This helps in maintaining high modulation ratio (HMR) and attenuation of high frequency harmonics. Control method suggested will help to focus on attenuation of double line frequency dc link voltage ripple at the time of unsymmetrical faults. Double line frequency power ripples need to be exchanged with front end from claiming dc input source; in place to stay with voltage of dc link safely. It is done by making fluctuation in dc input power depending on ratio of voltage drop and input power level. Results are checked in Matlab/Simulink.","PeriodicalId":439156,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123152350","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main objective is to automate the process of Breast Cancer detection by identifying the Region of interest. In this paper a novel approach to identify and initialize the region of interest automatically in a Breast Ultrasound image is proposed. We propose Hybrid Improved Speckle reducing anisotropic diffusion filter in the pre-processing stage followed by a novel algorithm to extract the region of interest. Hybrid filter in preprocessing is designed by combining Gaussian blur filter and Modified SRAD filter. To extract the region of interest Black Hat Transform and Simple threshold algorithm is proposed. Modified SRDA is applied on the Gaussian blur image which reduces the speckle and enhances the image to find the ROI. We deploy 2 methods to find the ROI, black hat-transform and Simple Threshold. In this work 180 different BUS images where used out of which 78 where malignant and 102 was benign. Proposed work was applied on these images and got an accuracy of 96%.
