The proposal is aimed to increase the reliability of calculations for different expert investigations concerning possible impacts of enforced fragmentation ammunition with spherical fragments into the objects. The proposed method may be used at designing stages or at the reverse engineering for assessing potential threats caused by unknown types of the ordnance. It may be also useful at external ballistic calculations for pellet ammunition (hunting and police) and moreover for the tank canister shells. Anyway the common access to computers is an encouragement for leaving apart the methods which assume a constant value of the aerodynamical drag coefficient.\u0000\u0000

These tests concern the flight dynamics of the LBCw-10 flight bomb, which was developed at ITWL and is currently undergoing modernization. Simulations were carried out using proprietary software developed for the needs of these studies. The article presents a classic model of spatial motion of a bomb and basic data of this object. The method of calculating aerodynamic forces is described in detail, complementing this description with exemplary aerodynamic characteristics, which were obtained using commercial PRODAS software. Additionally, the method of taking into account the variability of the wind field, and in particular the turbulence of the atmosphere is presented. A stochastic wind field model was used. Illustrative results of calculations are shown, which will be used in the process of bomb modernization involving the use of active flight path control.\u0000\u0000

For this reason a data transmitter is placed near the area and a receiver of transferred data and a computer with the software for visualisation of projectile impact sites is placed on a centre for controlling (commanding) and evaluating the results of firing. The managing software reconstructs an event and its position and displays it in the real time into the picture of the area shown on the monitor by analysing the data received from detectors in the form of compressed records of digital data. Performed tests have indicated that the fulfilment of Standard requirements can be achieved by upgrading the igniting system what also makes the projecting charge design of APFSDS-T-TP ammunition change. The paper describes the research-development work on the upgrading of the igniting system for the cartridges used in 120 mm gun of LEOPARD 2 tank.
