It has several advantages: it allows employees to freely choose where they work, while not losing contact with colleagues. For companies, hybrid working allows a reduction in utility costs and a downsizing of office space, while still being able to benefit from the direct presence of workers. Therefore, hybrid work is the expression of a compromise, which can indeed lead to work-life reconciliation, but it can also have a number of disadvantages. The latter mainly come from the lack of concern of the Romanian legislator for the category of workers who combine remote work with in-office work. Based on China's provincial panel data, this paper constructs an evaluation indicator system from four dimensions of digital infrastructure, digital industry development, digital R&D innovation, and digital governance environment, and constructs an indicator system of high-quality development level of the regional brand economy from two levels of brand value and brand intellectual property. Empirical tests show that the digital economy drives high-quality development of the regional brand economy, And the driving effect shows that the eastern region is stronger than the central and western regions. The case analysis includes quality process management and improvement, waste elimination, employee participation, good leadership, and supplier relationship. Digitalization has grown steadily, spreading to all areas, especially the economic sector, i.e. the economic activity carried out by taxpayers. In this context of development of the digital economy not only at a national level, but also at the European or global level, there is a need to analyze which state is responsible for taxing the profits obtained through the digital economy. The main research tools were the legal provisions on direct taxation, the literature analyzing and interpreting this field, and the identification of conclusions from the specific practice of taxpayers who have encountered problems, have asked the same questions or perhaps have found the answers necessary for this research. The implications of the study are both theoretical and practical. The topic aims to analyze a modern direct taxation mechanism. {"title":"The collecting of consent to the processing of children’s personal data, between volatility and disobedience","authors":"Juanita Goicovici","doi":"10.1051/shsconf/202317704001","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1051/shsconf/202317704001","url":null,"abstract":"The paper addresses the problematics of collecting consent to the processing of children’s personal data, observing the connection between granularity and the specificity of consent and insisting on the triple level of granularity which may be seen as applicable: (i) the granularity of the first degree, relative to the delimitation by reference to the consent granted at the formation of the main contract; (ii) secondary degree of granularity, relating to the sequencing of processing purposes; (iii) tertiary granularity, regarding the taxonomic specificity of the processing operations; in the case of children’s consent, this specific protection is expected to apply particularly to the use of children’s personal data for marketing or profiling purposes and to the collection of personal data when using services directly offered to children, whose capacity to exercise rights in this matter can be established in national law as beginning at the age of 16, without being able to go below the 13-year threshold, as provided by Article 8, para. (1), second thesis of General Regulation 2016/679. Related to the purposes of the processing, the data operator must inform the child, in an unambiguous and structured way, of the purposes of the processing of personal data, so that the latter were able to express the consent for each of the purposes, in a differentiated manner without being forced to accept them in their entirety, a requirement that functions as a safeguard against the gradual expansion or blurring of the clarity of the processing purposes. To fight against this kind of criminality, investigators must use appropriate methods. The Forensics of the Internet of Things (IoT) has evolved from “traditional” Digital Forensics, and includes, among other activities, the identification of the devices related to a certain crime, collecting the digital evidence in a form which can be used in front of the judicial bodies, the analysis, and the extraction of all possible information from the collected data, and the preservation of the evidence. The Forensics of IoT must face specific issues, mainly generated by the extraordinary large number of IoT devices and by the great diversity of these devices. An important problem is that data analysis is very difficult to perform, because of different data formats used by the components of IoT. In the forensic investigations related to the IoT, an important concern refers to privacy protection. This study aims to address the child maltreatment impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Leveraging county level data sets from Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and United States Census Bureau, XGBoost method and fixed effect model was used to investigate the most important economic, demographic, and social factors. It is found that population of 16-year-old or over, the rental vacancy rate, the population of 16-year-old or over that commutes to work by walking, and population of 16-year-old or over that works in agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting, and mining industry is positively associated with total number of child maltreatment cases. On the other hand, the total population in labor force, the female population not in labor force, the average of public cash assistance (in dollars), the average time (in minutes) commuting to work, and the population whose household contains 2 units/rooms are negatively associated with total number of child maltreatment cases. Combined with the previous research on the theory of caring for depressed students, the satisfaction model of depressed students’ parents is constructed. The data were collected through questionnaires and conducted using SPSS and AMOS. The results show that policy interpretability, cue mutuality and natural language have positive effects on parents’ perceived usefulness. Authenticity, altruism and interactivity of affective dimension have positive influence on the perceived trust of parents. Parents’ perceived usefulness has a positive effect on parents’satisfaction.
