Translation Analysis of Subtitle from English into Indonesian in Maleficent Movie 《沉睡魔咒》英文字幕的印尼语翻译分析

The research purposes are to analyze the clarity, accuracy and naturalness. Research approach is qualitative research. Research type is library research. Data are required from script of Maleficent movie, reader and experts‘ evaluation. This research uses documentation as data collecting technique. Researchers use investigator triangulation to make research can be trusted. The researchers got the data from the questionnaire by using Likert Scale. We can create the content of reading use videoscribe with combine text and image in one video, so teaching learning proses doesnt monotonous and student can enjoyed to read. So it can help improved students reading comprehension. The design of this study was Pre-Experimental design. Thus, one classrooms containing the total of 15 students of eight grade at SMP AN NUR FUADI Bangkalan were selected as the sample. In collecting the data, pre-test and post-test were utilized to assess students’ comprehension abilities before and after the treatment. In analyzing the data, the t-tests (paired sample, and independent sample) were run in SPSS. The result is score post-test students is higher than pre-test score of studets. To become an advanced teacher, a teacher should have good professional competence and pedagogical competence. However, there are still problems that hinder the teacher when conducted the teaching and learning process. The problems that appear in the English classroom are teachers’ professional competence and teachers’ pedagogical competence.            This study aims to describe and explain teachers’ experience in dealing with their professional and pedagogical competence in teaching the English language. This is a qualitative study and used interview and observation as the instruments to collect the data from 3 teachers as the participant in SMA NegeriBenlutuSo’e - East Nusa Tenggara.            The results of the study found that teachers’ low professional and pedagogical competence caused the teachers to have inadequate English teaching competence in teaching. It caused the teachers to teach the students with inappropriate learning materials, monotonous learning activities, and uncooperative assessment methods. One of reason that students lazy to written something because the methods are used by their teacher.  Most of them still used direct learning method (extracurricular learning), the students were bored and they are did not enjoy when teaching learning process. So, that is why, in this study the writers try to use snowball throwing method to help students in learning descriptive writing. The data collection methods which used in this study are observation checklist and questionnaire checklist. Observation used to find out the implementation snowball throwing on students writing in descriptive text. The questionnaire was used to know the students’ responses after being taught descriptive text by using snowball throwing method. This study reveals that the highest aspect score of observation checklist in first observation is less, but in the second meeting, the writers found that highest aspect score of observation was good. Based on data questionnaire checklist, the writers found that the highest students’ responses were good. Based on this result data resource above, the writers concluded that the students could master writing after they were taught using snowball throwing in writing descriptive text. Finally, the writers suggested that the students had to practice their writing skill in many times. The research focused on the students’ interest to study English by working in groups and how their academic achievement increased. The research was conducted in a Christian school in Kalimantan. The data was obtained by giving students a questionnaire, reading test and observation of the application of STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) and Think Pair and Share cooperative methods in the two cycles. The STAD cooperative method was applied in the first cycle; and Think pair and Share was applied in the second cycle. After collecting and analyzing the data, the researcher noted that these two cooperative methods helped to develop the students’ reading skills because they helped understand the story and the vocabulary. Zimmer twins media is an animated movie maker based on the website for the students to create their short stories in movies with many emotion, etc. The sample of this research the Eleventh of MA YASI those are XI- 1 class as the experimental class, and the X1-2 class as the control class consisted of 20 students. The method in this research was a quantitative method. In addition, the design used  was quasi-experimental research, and the instrument used a test. The research was taken by using non-random sampling. Moreover, this research was conducted through the following procedures: giving pre-test, applying treatments and giving post-test. The data analyzed and processed by using the statistic data calculation of ANCOVA by SPSS 23 program. The significant was shown by the students post-test mean in experimental class is 76.55 and the mean post-test in control class is 70.55. The result of the statistical hypothesis testing found from p-value was 0.000. It is lower than the level significant of 0.05. If p-value ≤ from the level significant 0.05. It means that H<sub>1</sub> was accepted and H<sub>0</sub> was rejected. The research uses descriptive qualitative research as approach and type of research. The sources of data are social situation, participant, and document. The techniques of collecting data are observation, interview, and documentation. To know the validity of the data, the researcher uses methodology triangulation. The technique of data analysis are data condensation, data display, conclusion and verification.The result of the research shows that the implementation of Cornell Note strategy has three steps included pre-activity, whilst- activity, and post- activity. The pre-activities include greeting, praying, checking students’ attendence and explaining the purpose of the meeting. The whilst- activities, the teacher explains how the procedures to read the text by using Cornell Note strategy. The procedures are prepare the worksheet, takes note in right column, write the question in left column, summarize information in bottom space, recite the note. Lastly, post- activities include reviewing and making resume of the material. The advantages are; first, can help the students to analyze the important information in the text. Second, motivate to read a text. Third, train the students’ concentration. Lastly, make the students enjoy in learning reading. Meanwhile, the disadvantages are; first, the students are difficult to know the meaning of the word in the text and make the question with correct structure into English. Besides, the solutions for the disadvantages of implementation Cornell Note strategy are; first, the teacher gives axamples the students to make a simple question. Second, the students can search a difficult word in the dictionary. The functions of learning English in Junior High School are; first, by studying English students are expected to have a means to develop their knowledge of science, technology and culture. The second is students are expected to be able to support the development of tourism. Students must be able to use a lot of vocabulary of English, if they want to be successfull in learning. Vocabulary is an important element in language besides pronunciation and grammar. We can’t express ideas in English without learning English vocabulary.Based on the explanation above, the researcher is interested in conducting research titled “ The Implementation Of Song Lyric “I Have A Dream By Westlife” To Improve Students’ Vocabulary Of Verbs In The Seventh Grade Students Of MTsN SIDOREJO Tiron Madiun In The Schooling Year 2014/2015”.Music and song are included in teaching media, the use of music and song in the classroom can stimulate very positive associations to someone who study language. The result of the analyzing data indicates that the uses of song lyric in teaching vocabulary of verbare divided into two steps. The first is preparation steps. The preparations steps includes prepare the material, stabling instructional purpose, prepares the lesson plan and syllabus. The second is learning process.
