It is very often that the cable being laid out is not perfectly fit on the route being planned, which results in the formation of slack. In order to control wastages during installation, the slack needs to be minimized and the movement of a ship/vessel needs to be synchronized with the cable being laid out. The current problem was addressed using a mathematical model by considering a number of defining parameters such as the external forces, the cable properties and geometry. Due to the complexity, the model is developed for a steady-state problem assuming velocity of the vessel is constant, seabed is flat and the effect of wind and wave is insignificant. Non-dimensional system is used to scale the engineering parameters and grouped them into only two main parameters which are the hydrodynamic drag of the fluid and the bending stiffness of the cable. There are two solutions generated in this article; numerical and asymptotic solutions. By defining a module isomorphism between $R^n$ and $(Z_4)^{2^kn}$, Dinh and Lopez-Permouth proved that a cyclic shift in $(Z_4)^{2^kn}$ corresponds to a constacyclic shift in $R^n$ by $u$, where $R=frac{Z_4[u]}{}$. We have defined a bijective mapping $Phi_l$ on $R_{infty}$, where $R_{infty}$ is the formal power series ring over a finite field $mathbb{F}$. We have proved that a cyclic shift in $(mathbb{F})^{ln}$ corresponds to a $Phi_l-$cyclic shift in $(R_{infty})^n$ by defining a mapping from $(R_{infty})^n$ onto $(mathbb{F})^{ln}$. Hamilton-Jacobi equation are applied to linear optimal control problem convert to systems of first-order equations. The main idea of our scheme is approximation derivative with cubic B-spline quasi-interpolation. This method is straightforward, without restrictive assumptions.The results of scheme are made in pleasant agreement with analytic solutions. The accuracy of the proposed method is demonstrated by absolute error. Perguruan tinggi sekarang ini sangat ditekankan dalam proses pembelajaran hendaknya mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif memiliki kecenderungan dapat melatih mahasiswa untuk mengeluarkan ide-ide yang muncul atau mengekspresikan diri dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dan seberapa besarkah pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kreatif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan analisis regresi linear. Analisis data dengan menghitung koefisien korelasi dan uji signifikan nya kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menentukan persamaan regresinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan nilai tidak signifikan serta kemampuan berpikir kreatif mempengaruhi hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 22,5%. Kata Kunci : pengaruh, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, hasil belajar. Abstract . (The Corellation of Creative Thinking Ability and Student Learning Outcomes). Today’s universities are highly emphasized in the learning process students should have the ability to think creatively. The ability to think creatively has a tendency to train students to issue ideas that emerge or express themselves in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to find out is there any influence of the ability to think creatively on student learning outcomes and how much influence the ability to think creatively on student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is quantitative descriptive with linear regression analysis. Data analysis by calculating the correlation coefficient and significant test then followed by determining the regression equation. The results showed that creative thinking ability influenced student learning outcomes with insignificant values and creative thinking ability influenced student learning outcomes by 22.5%. Antrian panjang kendaraan seringkali ditemukan pada lokasi persimpangan lampu lalu lintas. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya penyebab yang paling utama adalah banyaknya kedatangan kendaraan dan durasi lampu lalu lintas dalam satu siklus. Pada artikel ini diuraikan penelitian mengenai lalu lintas di persimpangan Buah-Batu - Soekarno Hatta. Persimpangan ini merupakan salah satu persimpangan yang paling padat di kota Bandung. Metode pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi langsung ke jalan raya. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis terhadap data yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teori antrian. Pada penelitian ini gunakan model antrian M/M/1 dimana kedatangan kendaraan diasumsikan melalui proses Poisson dengan waktu layanan pada lampu lalu lintas diasumsikan berdistribusi eksponensial.Kata kunci: lalu lintas, persimpangan, pemodelan, lampu merah, model antrian.Abstract. Long queues of vehicles are often found at the location of traffic lights. This can be caused by several factors, including the most important cause is the number of vehicle arrivals and the duration of traffic lights in one cycle. In this article a study of traffic at the intersection of Buah-Batu - Soekarno Hatta is described. This intersection is one of the most congested intersections in the city of Bandung. The method of data retrieval is done by direct observation to the highway. Furthermore, an analysis of the data obtained using queuing theory is carried out. Setelah diperoleh beberapa model pada masing-masing data, kemudian model terbaik dipilih berdasarkan pada kriteria nilai AIC dan SBC dengan nilai paling minimum. Hasil penelitian diperoleh untuk nilai AIC dan SBC yang paling minimum untuk data produksi kopi adalah model ARIMA (1,2,0)(1,2,1)12 dan untuk data curah hujan adalah model ARIMA (0,1,1)(1,1,0)12. Model tersebut adalah model yang akan digunakan untuk memprediksi jumlah kopi pada beberapa tahun mendatang di Kabupaten Lampung Barat. This research is used to get the best model and predict the amount of coffee production based on the best model that have been obtained by using seasonal ARIMA method. There are several steps of ARIMA seasonal method, the first is modeling data After obtaining several models on each data then the best model is chosen based on AIC and SBC value criteria with minimum value, minimum AIC and SBC value for coffee production data is ARIMA model (1,2,0)(1,2,1)12 and for rainfall data is ARIMA model (0,1,1)(1,1,0)12. The model is a model that will be used to predict the number of copies in the next few years in West Lampung District. Terdapat dua macam konstruksi origami yang telah dikenal luas: konstruksi dari Huzita-Justin dan Alperin-Lang. Dari perbandingan kedua konstruksi tersebut untuk menyelesaikan persamaan kubik, terlihat bahwa Huzita-Justin memberikan langkah yang lebih sederhana dalam pencarian solusi persamaan kubik, tetapi Alperin-Lang lebih powerful karena dapat dipergunakan untuk menyelesaikan persamaan polinom dengan derajat lebih tinggi. In this article, we see the application of origami to find the solution of cubic equation. There are two well-known origami constructions: Huzita-Justin’s and Alperin-Lang’s construction. Comparing both constructions to solve cubic equation, Huzita-Justin’s gives simpler steps. Although, Alperin-Lang’s is more powerful since it can be used to solve equations with higher degree.
