This study deals with the representations of God Ash who is one of the minor deities on the jar seals. He was considered the god of the western desert including its oases which gave him dual nature and connected him with God Seth who also had a dual nature. The relation between both gods increased in the reign of king Peribsen who replaced the god Hours on the serekh and put Seth instead. In particular Ash was identified by the Ancient Egyptians as the god of the Tehenu, known as the people of the oasis as well as Lord of the Land of the Olive Tree. Consequently, it is also possible that he was worshiped in Ombos, as their original chief deity before the arrival of Seth as its major God. By the late 2 nd Dynasty his importance had grown and was seen as a protector of the royal estates. He was known from the Early Dynastic period, upon wine jar seals excavated by Petrie in 1923 expedition to Saqqara. The current study aims at discussing the representations of the god Ash on wine jar seals and the potential relation to jar content. In order to achieve the aim a descriptive analytical methodology was employed.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123363789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital entrepreneurship is one of the latest theories that academic research tries to cover. This study examines the factors that influence undergraduate tourism students to apply digital entrepreneurship. Despite the presence of several studies that tackled different aspects of entrepreneurship in Egypt, there is limited research about applying digital entrepreneurship, especially among undergraduate tourism students. So, the current study tries to fill this gap. In this context, the research depended on the quantitative method in which the researcher distributed questionnaires to the third and fourth-year students enrolled in the Tourism Studies Department, Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, Helwan University. The valid questionnaires are 213 out of 250. The research used regression analysis to prove that DL, AE, PT, and ATDE affect the DEIs of undergraduate tourism students. In this regard, the study hypotheses are supported. It is worth mentioning that the field study points out the main barriers that hinder applying digital entrepreneurship among undergraduate tourism students. Finally, the study provided many recommendations and proposed a framework to enhance the application of digital entrepreneurship among undergraduate tourism students.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122548157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The setting for this study has been applied on timeshare owners in various destinations in Egypt. Although timeshare is considered the cornerstone of a profitable destination development, it faces many troubles and a little attention to be well exploited. From this perspective, this study aims at assessing timeshare service as it is widely considered one of the most rapidly growing components of the global tourism economy. The study adopted a multi-dimensional scale to assess perceived value including functional, emotional and social value dimensions. A quantitative analysis of 053 questionnaires distributed among timeshare owners within various tourist destinations (Ain Sokhna, Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh) has been applied from May 2022 till August 2022. The findings outlined a strong positive effect of timeshare on tourist perceived value. Furthermore, results showed that platform governance positively affects timeshare service. This study proposes an official timeshare platform in Egypt for a better financial performance and a governmental supervision than traditional timeshare.","PeriodicalId":436255,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Tourism and Hospitality Management","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125163655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
