We assume that the thickness of a dielectric medium is thick as compared with the wavelength of a cylindrical wave radiated from an electric line source. The FD asymptotic solutions are composed of a geometrical optical ray (GO) series solution and an extended uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD) series solution. Multiple reflected waves passing through a thick dielectric medium are added on to each series solution as compared with a conventional solution. Therefore it is the key to safety of CRH. Due to the wide application of electronic devices in high power and the improvement of the automatic controlling system in CRH trains, the probability of vehicular signaling system being affected by EMI is greatly increased. At present the EMC anti-interference is standardized by EMC specification. However there are still problems due to varying EM environment on the trains. This paper analyzes the EM environment according to the actual work of CRH vehicular signaling system. The coupling path of EMI into the signaling system is modeled and analyzed. The conclusion shows that the EMI disturbance generated by the catenary is majority. And it causes vehicular signaling system of track circuit and balise failure, resulting in CRH driving fault. The scheme presented in this paper allows the calculation of the ensemble averaged covariance matrix of the scattered field in terms of the correlation function of the cylinder roughness and thus obviates the need for a full-fledged monte-carlo simulation. Using our analytical model, we compare the back-scattered polarisation response of a cloud of rough cylinders to that of a cloud of smooth cylinders - it is found that depending on the cylinder radius and orientation, the surface roughness can have a significant impact on this response. Both the superstructures are composed of only dielectric materials and have non-uniform permittivity in either the axial direction, i.e., perpendicular to the antenna axis, or in the transverse plane. These superstructures not only make the resulting RCAs significantly wideband, along with their excellent directive characteristics, but also add compactness to the overall design. Based on this modeling method, a 120 W X-band internally-matched AlGaN/GaN PA under continues wave (CW) condition is presented. The proposed power amplifier can provide a relatively stable output power above 50.6 dBm (115 W) and power added efficiency above 42% from 7.7 GHz to 8.7 GHz, while maintain a stable gain above 10.1 dB. The approach incorporates the Domain Greens Function Method (DGFM), i.e. a method-of-moments (MoM) based approach, to extract an active impedance matrix for each array element. The impedance matrices model the array environment for each antenna element and serve as input to an eigenvalue solver for the CMA.
