Surface structures were measured according to stand age classes and habitat categories. The total surface of plots, where old-age forests grow was summed up. The species composition of forest stands and plant communities on the whole is generalized. The values of forest plots areas in which the Pinus cembra trees constitute part of the volume of stands of 10%, 20% or more are summarized. The most numerous lobelias are found in Lake Małe Oczko, where almost the entire shore grows (80%). The threat to this species is overgrowth of the banks, change in the chemical composition of waters, tourism and the changing level of the water table. The national black grouse protection plan has been prepared and a few regional projects of the conservation of grouse and its areas of occurrence have been implemented. Unfortunately, adverse trends have not been turned back in the majority of regions. On the other hand, the population occurrence area has even increased locally in the mountains. The registered changes in the area of black grouse occurrence indicate that this species has the greatest chance of survival in some mountain areas in the southern part of Poland and locally in lowlands in the north-eastern part of the country. The spring peat of pine is an important disease of crops and young trees in the Międzychód Forest District. The potential threat is registered in the Bogdaniec, Gryfice and Międzyrzecz Forest Districts. The Forest Districts of Choszczno, Głusko, Karwin, Myślibórz and Różańsko did not find any damages to the rash of spring pine in the period indicated. The alley is the access road from Kaliska to Bartel in Kaliska forest district. The second avenue is the avenue of mixed trees in Wirty near Borzechowo. The inventory covered a total of 154 trees. The dimensions of the trees have become an important criterion taken into account when selecting trees for legal protection. In these lanes there were selected 48 trees that should be legally protected. The study was carried out on the basis of the analysis of archival cartographic materials, technical documentations and published works. From the first half of the 19th century the Miedzno lake area was about 125 - 135 ha and the lake water level elevation approx. 85.0 m a.s.l. Soil degradation is characterized by a decline in quality and decrease in ecosystems goods and it is unfavorable phenomenon. Soil is a non-renewable resource and its vulnerability to degradation depends on complex interactions between processes, factors and causes occurring at spatial and temporal scales. Both natural and antropogenic factors and processes are listed as possible causes of soil degradation. The legal problems include the lack of the exact interpretation of the terms: “a small number of specimens” and “a negative impact on the preservation of the proper conservation status”, as well as the ensuing ineffective law enforcement issues. The lack of monitoring of fungi, insufficient use of nature protection areas for the conservation of fungi or the lack of conservation programmes for the endangered species are the examples of practical problems.
