An analysis is made of what results, for what reasons and how the further construction of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will lead in the face of the unfriendliness of Western states and a simultaneous crisis of their strategy in the economy and politics. Namely: the formation of a large continental market, a stable system of interstate cooperation, the implementation of an interethnic protectionist policy that encourages production and consumption within the EAEU. The prospect of such development makes the project attractive for countries outside Eurasia, which leads to the birth of the Eurasian consensus as an international economic and political agenda. This will largely become decisive for the global economic agenda for 2021-2045, that is, for the period of a new upward wave according to N.D. Kondratyev.","PeriodicalId":434771,"journal":{"name":"Eurasia. The fact is that the independent republics (recognized and unrecognized) must still take their place in the new world order, as demonstrated by the turbulent 2020 in the Caucasus and the rapid changes in Central Asia (Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan). All these plots have their own logic and content. In this article, we will pay more attention to the South Caucasus, the countries of which, despite their long-term neighborhood, exist in various regional, cultural and political spaces with all its consequences.","PeriodicalId":434771,"journal":{"name":"Eurasia. Besides, the international cooperation of the CSTO during a pandemic is studied. Therefore, in this case, we cannot talk about the competition of several integration projects in these countries. Moreover, Eurasian integration, in which Russia actively participates, is viewed by them as a factor of expansion and expansion of Russian political and economic influence. This exacerbates disputes about the prospects for European integration not only in the political establishment of these countries, but also among ordinary citizens who will finance the European aspirations of national elites. Cooperation with the EU and NATO is seen as a tool to overcome the possible \"temptation of Eurasian integration\" and the military superiority of Russia and its partners. At the same time, the question remains open - whether this desire corresponds to the positions of citizens or is an elite project. The purpose of the article is to analyze the grounds for uniting the efforts of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine in promoting the idea of European integration and joining NATO, correlating them with the readiness of both the EU and NATO to admit the three post-Soviet countries into their ranks.","PeriodicalId":434771,"journal":{"name":"Eurasia. The author emphasizes that in order to reduce the risks associated with the imposition of sanctions, it is necessary to activate the potential of union structures in the field of standardization of regional economic cooperation. The article explores the dependence of the effects of integration on the degree of assistance to interstate, interregional, local contacts in the private sector. One of the results of such interaction are international ratings and standards of various kinds. Such ratings are based on economic, political, social and other information. It is noted that integration structures have great potential and are gaining importance in the field of rating creation.","PeriodicalId":434771,"journal":{"name":"Eurasia. The author considers the most important areas of interaction between Ukraine and Kazakhstan, special attention is paid to the analysis of economic cooperation between the two states at the present stage. The projects of Kiev and Nur-Sultan focused on the development of the Trans-Caspian corridor of international trade are analyzed. The conclusion is made that the countries most likely will not be able to form a full-fledged strategic partnership, because Kazakhstan is a member of the EAEU and the CSTO, while Ukraine aspires to join the EU. However, the states will increase interaction in the trade and economic sphere, including, perhaps, military-technical cooperation, but only to a limited extent.","PeriodicalId":434771,"journal":{"name":"Eurasia.
