The author pays special attention to the study of the results and plans of the \"Illegal\" and \"PROXY\" operations, analyzes measures to strengthen the combat potential of the Russian air base Kant, located in the Chui region of Kyrgyzstan, in order to effectively counter terrorism in Central Asia. Besides, the international cooperation of the CSTO during a pandemic is studied. It is concluded that the Organization will keep its significance in the post-Soviet space after the end of the coronavirus crisis, as an instrument for ensuring Eurasian security.
