Media-mix strategy would draw attention as a more important marketing approach for advertising industry. We need a new market model to use and combine those media effectively for the strategy. In this research, we propose an advertising contents contract and market model by the electronic contract. The support system of advertising distribution contract, which supports media planning and distribution contract, is the central existence. The system can draw up a media plan in real time that effectively combines various advertising frames suitable for the media-mix strategy by evaluating the advertising effectiveness. Moreover, when the system helps advertisers with a series of work from media planning to distribution contract, inexpensive advertising frames can be used effectively","PeriodicalId":433885,"journal":{"name":"IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce Technology for Dynamic E-Business","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128423212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the distributed coordination function (DCF) and the enhanced DCF (EDCF) mechanisms in IEEE 802.11 and 802.lie, a novel backoff scheme is proposed. The scheme is to solve the problem of the packets loss and the decrease of performance due to the increasing contention window (CW) when there are continuous failure transmissions. In the proposed scheme, the CW of a packet will change dynamically with different delay for the different traffics. The performance of the new scheme is also discussed with simulation results. The results show that it helps m-commerce applications that handle text, image, and video simultaneously","PeriodicalId":433885,"journal":{"name":"IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce Technology for Dynamic E-Business","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122561315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A particular issue in this integration process is that millions of ad hoc EPCs are autonomously distributed around the world on Internet and fully behave in their own ways. This leads to the unknown sources of their schemas and semantics and cannot adopt traditional product ontologies to mediate heterogeneous product information. To investigate the specific issues, this paper articulates both semantic conflict relations of ad hoc EPCs and their unique uneven distribution properties. By these articulations, it has developed a novel ConexNet on which uneven distributed and autonomous EPCs are aligned and linked in a semantic conflict-free way. Features are provided to examine how ConexNet is made to resolve semantic conflicts. Measuring criteria are proposed to evaluate the quality of ConexNet","PeriodicalId":433885,"journal":{"name":"IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce Technology for Dynamic E-Business","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124602756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Micro-payment refers to low-value financial transactions ranging from several cents to a few dollars. The cost of micro-payments should be kept as low as possible in order for the service provider to profit from the low-value transactions. In recent years, many micro-payment schemes have been proposed. But many of them don't apt to multiple-vendor. We propose a micro-payment scheme that is able to apply to multiple-vendor for m-commerce. But it is difficult to meet the practical requirements if only with the individual Web services. As a result, federating existing single Web services into composite Web services is not only necessary but also indispensable. This paper proposes a dynamic and semantic composition approach for Web services. In this approach, Web services are modeled with some rules whose heads and bodied are related with a semantic ontology used for eliminating the semantic conflicts in composition. Moreover, a nonbacktrace backward chaining algorithm is addressed to compose the existing Web services in a more efficient and automatic way. Given the inputs and expected outputs, the approach will automatically and dynamically generate a composition plan and convert it into BPEL4WS that can be executed and returns the results. The whole composition process can be done automatically and dynamically","PeriodicalId":433885,"journal":{"name":"IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce Technology for Dynamic E-Business","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129651651","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
