Many business-to-customer markets have become the Web-based services and applied the new business models, such as virtual storefront, digital product providers, transaction brokers, online services, and auction houses. Although e-commerce applications vary significantly, most successful sites emphasize the important of interaction and service quality. Direct relations mean the visible link between two resources like hyperlinks. Direct relations are easy to discover while hidden relations are not. Current discovery methods are mostly based on the text learning and user feedback methods. The text contents are not fit for inference and they are also lack of semantics. The Web pages are annotated with ontologies in semantic Web. The annotations are useful for inference. We propose a framework for resource association discovery in semantic Web. The framework uses the annotation for inference and the annotation hierarchy can be solved by mapping different ontologies. The experiment shows the satisfied results. So it is also useful in information exchange and data integration for preserving the semantics of data originating in relational databases. Although several approaches exist, they are incomplete in the sense that they focus only on a part of constraints and ignore the constraints for XML DTDs. We first analyze both constraints in XML and constraints for XML. We also discuss what makes good XML document, and how to guarantee these constraints. At last we present our methods to preserve these constraints with relational schema. Comparing with other methods, our approach can preserve more XML constraints, reduce nesting and redundant data, and avoid storing bad DTDs","PeriodicalId":433885,"journal":{"name":"IEEE International Conference on E-Commerce Technology for Dynamic E-Business","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126156932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
