Metode penelitian menggunaan eksperimen one shot case study. Populasi adalah siswa kelas X SMA Citra Kasih. Sampel adalah siswa kelas X MIPA tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 25 siswa. Proyek karya ilmiah merupakan tugas yang diberikan kepada siswa secara berkelompok dan dilakukan secara terbimbing mulai dari penentuan judul, penyusunan proposal, pelaksanaan penelitian, penyusunan laporan penelitian, dan presentasi. Proyek karya ilmiah dapat menumbuhkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran Biologi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan 88 % siswa menyatakan minat terhadap Biologi setelah diberi proyek karya ilmiah.Kata kunci: Keterampilan Sains, Proyek Karya Ilmiah, Minat siswa\u0000\u0000ABSTRACT\u0000\u0000The research objectives are (1) to explain the application of scientific skill approach using scientific work project, and (2) to know the students’ interest after the respondents was given scientific work project treatment. The research method is experiment with one shot case study. The population is the Grade X students of SMA Citra Kasih Jakarta. The samples are 25 students of Class X MIPA academic year 2014/2015. Scientific work project is a task that is given to students in groups and it is conducted with guide from title determination, proposal preparation, research implementation, research reporting, and presentation. The project of scientific work is able to make students interest in Biology learning. Hal ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dan manfaat bagi para guru bahasa Inggris, pembuat tes atau para praktisi untuk mendorong mereka dalam membuat tes yang memenuhi syarat tanpa mengabaikan prosedur standar untuk membuat tes yang baik. The design of this study is a survey with correlation approach. The sample size was 118 high school chemistry teachers selected by simple random sampling. The research instrument used are (1) the scale of teacher chemistry performance, and (2) creativity scale. Data were analyzed by using simple regression correlation and multiple regression correlation. This article aims to reveal the relationship of secondary metabolites contained of the A. calamus with its use as a cure for cancer and anti microbial. This article is based on offline and online media literature. Offline literature used the books, whereas online media used Web, Scopus, Pubmed, and scientific journals. Acorus calamus is an aromatic plant containing the essential oils, especially asarone. The local community Indonesian has long been exploited the Acorus calamus to cure fever, malnutrition, and postpartum mothers. The essential oil of the A. calamus inhibits of microbial growth (bacteria, fungi and yeasts) and inhibits cell growth. The A. calamus is potentially developed as a cancer drug, but its toxicity needs to be further investigated.Key Words: Acorus calamus, asaron, anti cancer, anti microbial.\u0000\u0000ABSTRAK\u0000\u0000Jerango (Acorus calamus L.) atau yang dikenal juga sebagai sweet flag merupakan salah jenis dalam famili Acoraceae yang dimanfaatkan sebagai obat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan metabolit sekunder yang dikandung A. calamus denga pemanfaatannya sebagai obat kanker dan anti mikroba. This article is based on literature offline and online media. Offline literature used the books, whereas online media used Web, Scopus, Pubmed, and scientific journals. Acorus calamus merupakan tumbuhan aromatik yang mengandung essensial oil, khususnya asaron. Masyarakat lokal Indonesia Acorus calamus telah lama dimanfaatkan masyarakat lokal Indonesia sebagai obat demam, malnutrisi dan obat ibu pasca melahirkan. Essensial oil A. calamus menghambat pertumbuhan mikroba (bakteri, jamur dan khamir) dan menghambat pertumbuhan sel. The research sample is 50 students which have been selected from population. This research applies descriptive method. Then to analyze the data in this hypothesis research uses Pearson product moment by giving questionnaires to measure variable X (the effect of counseling guidance to teacher of Christian religious education) and variable Y (the students’ development character). The research finding shows that correlation (r) 0.43 with determination test is 18.49% and to know whether significant or not the correlation of real level (α) = 0,05, so ‘t’ test is applied by the criteria of testing, if “t” which is gained more that ( > ) from “t” table pada level significant 1 – 0,05 with dk = k – 2 so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is received while nul hypothesis (H0) is rejected. The result from the data analysis found that “t” test (>) “t” tabel = 3.27 ( > ) 1,68, so alternative hypothesis is received. From the analysis result, it can be concluded that there is significant effect of counseling guidance for the teacher of Christian religious education in to the character development at school.Key Words: Conunseling Guidance, Students’ Development Character\u0000\u0000ABSTRAK\u0000\u0000Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauhmana Pengaruh Bimbingan Konseling Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap Perkembangan Karakter siswa di sekolah. Jumlah sampel yang diambil dari populasi sebayak 50 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sedangkan analisa data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian hipotesis adalah kolerasi product moment pearson dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk Variabel X (Pengaruh Bimbingan Konseling Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen) dan Variabel Y (Perkembangan Karakter siswa). Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh pengujian kolerasi (r) 0,43 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 18,49% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien kolerasi pada taraf nyata (α) = 0,05 maka diadakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian jika t hitung yang didapat dari perhitungan lebih besar ( > ) dari t tabel pada taraf signifikan 1 – 0,05 dengan dk = k – 2 maka hipotesis diterima dan dalam hal lain ditolak. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh diperoleh t hitung ( > ) t tabel = 3,27 ( > ) 1,68, maka hipotesis diterima. Penulis menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dan populasi penelitian ini adalah dari mahasiswa semester dua Universitas FKIP Nommensen Pematangsiantar yang terdiri dari 270 siswa. Penulis mengambil 2 kelas atau 60 siswa adalah sampel 30 siswa dari kelompok eksperimen (C) dan 30 siswa dari kelompok kontrol (D). Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol rata-rata (65,06> 29,93). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa T_OBS lebih tinggi dari T_table (66,15> 2,00). Itu berarti bahwa H_a diterima dan H_o ditolak. Akhirnya, disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan menggunakan teknik Think-Pair-Share pada pencapaian siswa dalam pemahaman membaca pada mahasiswa semester dua FKIP Nommensen Universitas Pematangsiantar. Disarankan agar para guru menerapkan teknik Think-Pair-Share dalam pengajaran membaca pada mahasiswa semester dua FKIP Universitas Nommensen Pematangsiantar.Kata kunci: Think Pair Share Technique, Prestasi, Pemahaman Bacaan\u0000\u0000ABSTRACT\u0000\u0000The aim of the research is to find out the effect of Think-Pair-Share technique on the students’ achievement in reading comprehension at the second semester students of FKIP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar. The writer uses quantitative research design and the population of this study is from the second semester students of FKIP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar that consists of 270 students. The writer takes 2 classes or 60 students are the sample 30 students from experimental group (C) and 30 students from control group (D). The research findings show that the mean of experimental group is higher than the mean of control group (65,06>29,93). The result of the hypothesis testing showed that is T_OBS higher than T_table (66,15>2,00). It means that H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Finally, it is concluded that there is a significant the effect of using Think-Pair-Share technique on the students’ achievement in reading comprehension at the second semester students of FKIP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar.
