Eliot was a multifaceted personality who imparted a new depth and gravity to literary criticism. Although his reputation chiefly rests upon his poetry but without any shade of doubt, his contribution in the sphere of criticism cannot be underestimated. His landmark essay is divided into three parts in which he, first of all, he posit that what often makes poetry great is the degree to which it is in conversation with the poetry of the past. In the second part of the essay, Eliot expounds the idea that the creation of poetry is an act of depersonalization. For him, great art is not an expression of a poet’s personal emotions but rather an act of aesthetic distillation which is primarily typifies built on his idea of the poet as an impersonal medium. This paper throws light on Eliot’s conviction of the tradition where the personality of pure poetry is evidence of the objective correlative paradigm. This suggests too, that honest criticism and sensitive appreciation of essentially poetry are directed not at the poet but upon the poetry. Eliot’s final point is that the poet’s sense of tradition and the impersonality of poetry are complimentary.\"","PeriodicalId":432768,"journal":{"name":"Shodh Sankalp Journal","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126457978","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a strong argument that research and teaching should go side by side. For University Level teaching the faculty members must pursue research along with teaching. However, some studies pointed out that research and teaching have no linkage with each other. The key research objective is whether the faculty members perceive a relation to exist between the teaching and research, and does it, in their opinion, helping in delivering superior teaching to the students. The research approach adopted for the study is the qualitative research design. Information was collected by interviewing 45 faculties of the Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS). The research unveils that although the faculties of GCBS are doing lots of research work, however, while teaching in the class faculties are opting for student-oriented teaching pedagogy. Internal marketing creates employee orientation or internal customer orientation. This research paper focused on internal branding as a solution to improve the internal market, which has a positive impact on the external market, which leads to organizational success. This is a conceptual paper and data has been collected from various journals, books and online articles. In this globalization, liberalization and technological era, branding is the challenge facing the organization. Internal branding provides employees with information about the company's products and services, as well as an understanding of their value, which benefits customers. Customers respond positively to a customer-focused service culture. Internal marketing is concerned with employees; hence it develops employee orientation. Employees are aware of both tangible and intangible features of products and services that are provided to customers through internal branding. In this competitive era, attraction and retention are not the only ways to succeed. To sustain an organization in this competitive world, it is necessary to create a culture that fosters the best utilization of employees’ talent. Its ideal is ideal of welfare state, as a major part of the people is marginal. Therefore, here much of modern politics is conditioned by the popular politics. It is not a new phenomenon across the globe. On the other hand, all countries irrespective of developed, developing or under developed are in the grip of liberalization, privatization and globalization (LPG). India is also not the exception to that phenomenon, although it is, in real sense, contrary to the populism. The wheel of liberalization has also been running in the world-largest democracy like India since 1991. But side by side, a lot of popular policies for welfare of the population has been taken by the government during the period from 1990 to 2020.
