The main objective of the time series data clustering is to minimize the dataset size via a prototype defined for same time series data in every group that significantly reduced the complexities. Initially, the time series dataset in the data reduction step is subjected to preprocessing process. Further, in the proposed probability based distance measure evaluation, the time series data is grouped into subclusters. In the clustering step, the proposed shape based similarity measure is performed. Moreover, the clustering process is carried out by optimized k-mean clustering in which the center point is optimally tuned by a new customized whale optimization algorithm (CWOA). At last, the performance of the adopted model is computed to other traditional models with respect to various measures such as sensitivity, accuracy, FPR, conentropy, precision, FNR, specificity, MCC, entropy, F-measure, and Rand index, respectively.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43708474","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has been recognized speedily, but it is not as easy as in any area of the world because no required framework exists. Both the healthy and diseased plant leaves were gathered and collected under the condition and circumstances. For this purpose, a public set of information was used. It was 20,639 images of plants that were infected and healthy. In order to recognize three different crops and 12 diseases, a sequential convolutional neural network from Keras was trained and applied. The perfection and exactness was 98.18 % onset of information of the above trained mentioned model using CNN . It has also indicated the probability and possibility of this strategy and procedure. The over-fitting occurs and neutralizes by putting the dropout value to 0.25.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"44116747","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, the health care industry has completely transformed by using modern technologies and their applications for medical services. Among those technologies, machine learning is one of them, which has gained attention by people that its new advanced technology would give accurate results by using modeling methods for prediction. As this is a branch of artificial intelligence, it employs various statics, probabilistic and optimistic tools. This is applied to medical services, especially which are based on proteomic and genomic measurements. The aim is to use the dataset of cancer treatment and predict the results of patients by using machine learning with its modeling methods for accurate results. Recently experts have even used this machine learning in cancer for prognosis and forecasting.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45529946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This method uses the decision fusion method that combines the matching filter, Fourier transform and the STFT. In the first step, acceleration, velocity, and RCS are simulated and the radar that returns from the target is calculated based on transmission power, distance of target, antenna gain, and RCS. Then, the FBF-MTD method combines the results of Fourier transform, short time Fourier transform, and matched filter, to produce the final decision. The performance of the proposed FBF-MTD method is analyzed with respect to the metrics, namely detection time, missed target rate, and MSE. The proposed FBF-MTD model obtained the detection time, missed target rate, and MSE values of 3.2495 sec, 0.0524, and 3344.04, respectively that show the superiority of the FBF-MTD model in MTD.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"95 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2022-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80942466","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Replicating a state machine in a fault tolerant way is one of the main application areas under this context. When implementing a replicated state machine, a crucial problem is to maintain consistency among replicas that might handle various different requests arriving at each different replica. This problem requires maintaining a single consistent ordering of the distributed requests handled separately by replicas. Basic consensus protocols such as two phase commit (2PC), can be used to maintain consistency between replicas whenever a request is to be processed. In this study we modify 2PC protocol to take advantage of basic properties of a state machine and detect possible write conflicts earlier. Our experiments on distributed cloud environments show that our modified 2PC protocol increases the throughput and decrease wasted write operations by a significant amount.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"12 1","pages":"1-20"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2021-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70455376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
