In this paper the authors are interested by a class of TA called durational actions timed automata daTA and the zones graph which represents an exact finite state abstraction based on what called Zones. The authors present a novel approach to construct a zone graph, based on the maximality semantics called maximality-based zone graph MZG by a local construction approach and they define timed maximality bisimulation relation for real-time model based on the maximality semantics. The authors propose a new method for distributed state space generation of maximality-based zone graph based on DHT structure. They also describe an implementation of this construction DTaMaZG tool. The experiments given at the end of this article has shown good results especially when comparing with other works that have already proceed in the distributed generation of MLTS Maximality based Labeled Transition Systems.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"7 1","pages":"21-41"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2016-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70454889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, the channel estimation algorithms were studied for the mobile WiMAX system. The comb-type pilot was used for channel estimation algorithms. The authors proposed an adaptive algorithm of channel estimation based on Kalman filter which had good performance in fading channels. Then, based on the result of channel estimation, we proposed an advanced algorithm of GI (Guard Interval) optimization. The results showed that the Kalman estimator combined with GI optimization algorithm showed the best performance in this paper. This algorithm was verified by computer simulation.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"38 1","pages":"16-28"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2013-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70488602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Modifications in the way of loading data out in AES encryption/decryption, loading key_expansion in Key_Expansion blocks are also proposed. The design is tested with the sample vectors provided by Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 197. The design is implemented on APEX20KC Altera’s FPGA and on Virtex XCV600 Xilinx’s FPGA. For all the authors’ proposals, they are found to be very simple in FPGA-based architecture implementation, better in low latency, and small area, but large in memory, moderate throughput.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"4 1","pages":"56-77"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2013-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70488624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this regard, applications are rarely reported in specialized literature, which explains how few references exist about them. One of the application areas for MOW is the handling of catastrophes, in particular the pre-catastrophe and post-catastrophe phases where a series of problems are usually handled which solution leads to a choice, which could be done by using multi-criteria techniques.The objective of this investigation is to present the MOW with multiplicative factors, and showing their application in the pre-catastrophe phase, when choosing possible shelters and in the post-catastrophe phase, by aiding to hierarchies which infrastructures to be recovered after a catastrophe.","PeriodicalId":43267,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies","volume":"2 1","pages":"14-28"},"PeriodicalIF":1.1,"publicationDate":"2011-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"70488510","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
