It starts by synthesizing and choosing the structural diagrams and integrating the mathematical modeling of transducers into the optimization process of its design and mode parameters. Then, the optimization results analysis and a final variant of the transducer with the specified technical characteristics are carried out. The paper considers a five-component model used in the Fluke 437–II Power Quality Monitor - energy loss calculator, and an alternative four-component model based on modern power theory. The comparison was performed using the developed meter of total power loss components in practical conditions. The control technique is used for controlling the KW as well as KVAR by means of power angle and modulation index respectively. The objective of the inverter is to make operate in dual mode as an active power injector, as well as a reactive power injector into the grid irrespective of the active power supply from the solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays. The operation is accomplished with a grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) system. The modular multilevel converter (MMC) inverter is placed between the grid and the PV array along with an RL load. All the simulation and analysis work has been performed in MATLAB Simulink software. For this reason, electricity energy providers from renewable sources are forced to forecast energy generation and pay penalties if their forecast doesn't match with real energy generation. Renewable energy providers may use weather forecast as well as install energy storage system to minimize the penalties. This problem is relevant in the tasks of ensuring quality, reliability and efficient operation of technical objects. This article is devoted to the problem study of associated with uncertainty in the development and implementation of risk management system for power transformer failure. The proposed approach is based on fuzzy logic. This allows formalizing the expert's knowledge about the fault types of power transformer and decision-making in a multicriteria problem. As a result of the research, a classification of uncertainty types under risk assessment. Recommendations are also made on methods of overcoming problems associated with uncertainty problems that arise during the development and implementation of management systems, through more accurate risk assessment. An important fact of this was that UFLS disconnected at the same time part a load of demand together with the generation that was in the network of Distribution System Operator (DSO). From the analysis of emergencies, it was possible to conclude that if there is a share of distribution generation (DG) in the power system, it is necessary to take into account this feature when choosing the amount of load shedding (LS) and setting of UFLS relay. The paper conducted research to determine the reasons for the reduction of the UFLS reserve on a single line diagram of the local network with the connected solar power plant. Integral formulas are obtained to determine the applied unbalanced power components, making it possible to record their contribution to the deterioration of electrical energy quality. The relationship between power unbalance components and the linear unbalanced load parameters was established to verify the above-mentioned integral formulas by computer experiment. Experimental studies show complete coincidence of the measured power points with the curves of the calculated dependences. It has been found that with given source symmetric voltages, the three-phase sinusoidal process of the unbalanced load is fully identified by four scalar values: active and reactive powers and applied orthogonal components of the unbalance power. At the same time one pump is adjustable and provides stabilization of pressure in a hydraulic network at the necessary level, the second - not regulated which is switched on at the maximum loads and uses soft start system. For more accurately assess the dynamic and static characteristics of water supply, the features of the daily schedule of water yearly consumption, defined in spring, autumn, winter and summer periods are considered. Using the SimHydraulics library of the MatLab application package, a refining model of the hydraulic network has been developed, which allows to take into account the characteristics of network and design features of its individual elements with a high degree of accuracy. The study of the level of accuracy of pressure stabilization of the water supply system is performed, as well as the results of the analysis of energy characteristics of the electromechanical water supply system with variation of its load level during the day and year. Based on the review of the previous research, the expediency of using cascade pumping unit electromechanical systems for water supply systems of residential buildings was determined.
