The shortcomings of the existing systems were identified and a list of requirements for the modern monitoring system was defined. The results of the developed system for monitoring technological parameters, notifying the operator and power equipment protection based on the SIMATIC S7-1215C PLC controller are presented. The main components of the developed algorithm for forming the message queue and sending them are presented. The implementation of this algorithm in the PLC controller program made it possible to form a simple hardware structure of the monitoring system and to obtain the better functionality compared to the existing systems, as well as good scalability of the system.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115228301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The topology is characterized by multilevel characteristics allowing to improve the performance of the machine specially for wide range of speed variation. Besides that it provides fault tolerance to open faults that can occur in the transistors of the converter. With the purpose to reduce the number of transistors the topology was based on the crossover switches configuration. The topology will be described in a detailed way for normal and fault tolerant mode. On the other hand, the proposed power electronic converter will be tested and analyzed through the implementation of the system in a simulation tool. The results that are obtained from this tool confirm the characteristics of the proposed drive. The operation in fault tolerance can be realized in any operation speed.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114064418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the paper, economic curves are constructed for a line with a rated voltage of 750 kV. The cross-sections, the use of which is justified depending on the transmitted power, are determined. The analysis of the influence of design parameters on the occurrence of resonant overvoltages in non-sinusoidal overvoltages has been carried out. Three-dimensional graphs of dependences of overvoltage values on changes in the distance between phases and split wires are constructed.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128706595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This provides the maximum value of the electromagnetic torque at the same value of the current in the stator winding. The comparative analysis of traction properties of the induction motor at application of the optimized and not optimized vector control of stator current is carried out. The formula is obtained, which allows at the same value of current in the stator winding of the induction motor to determine the multiplicity of increase of electromagnetic torque using optimized and non-optimized vector control of the stator current of the induction motor of an electric vehicle.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114630010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A steam-gas electric power plant was chosen as the object of research. The input characteristics are the ambient temperature, relative humidity and ambient pressure, which are the main factors for gas turbines, as well as the exhaust vacuum measured in the steam turbine. The study used methods of clustering precedents, the technology of finding the nearest neighbors in machine learning and the usual linear multifactor regression. It was found that even with the help of such simple tools as linear local multifactor regression, it is possible to adequately estimate the hidden energy losses caused by uncontrolled factors in the operation of a steam-gas power plant. Using more sophisticated tools and proper pre-processing can significantly increase the reliability of the assessment.","PeriodicalId":432063,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 8th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"80 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126336913","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The strategy of maximum torque per ampere was used as the optimal control strategy. A synchronous machine with permanent magnets located in the middle of the rotor was used for the study. Control algorithms for the vector system were developed based on the concept of inverse dynamics problems. The robustness of the automatic system was checked by varying the active resistance of the stator winding of the research machine and by evaluating the quality of the transients of the electromechanical coordinates of the system.
