By adopting a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study designs and tests a temperature monitoring tool with DHT11 sensors, NodeMCU ESP8266, and LCD displays. Data is integrated into Google Sheets for real-time access. The results show improved service efficiency, reducing waiting times to 0.41-2.45 minutes, with fewer waiting customers and lower utilization rates. Results show a significant reduction in total repair area distance from 110 meters to 55 meters, indicating enhanced operational efficiency. Employing qualitative and quantitative methods, including the Seven Tools and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), the research uncovered predominant defects: 681 porous, 312 chipped, 196 cracked, 132 bug hole, 93 shrinkage, 85 lumpy, and 72 other defects. Human, material, machine, method, environmental factors contributed to these defects. Corrective actions were recommended to mitigate defects. The study's limitations include its focus solely on concrete type G5. This study aims to predict truck breakdowns using a machine learning model based on the K-NN algorithm within the CRISP-DM framework. Data from the company's maintenance records were cleaned and split into training and testing sets. With k=20, the model achieved 90% accuracy on training data and 83% on testing data. These results can help improve maintenance scheduling and resource planning, enhancing truck reliability. Conducted at the Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo, the research assesses performance factors such as compressor tube filling time and injection settings. Results indicate that using one compressor motor takes 12 minutes and 57 seconds to fill the tube, while two motors reduce this to 8 minutes and 12 seconds, reaching a maximum pressure of 75 psi. Higher spray gun settings result in faster air depletion. This study examines the performance of motorcycles using modified racing rollers versus standard factory rollers. Focusing on a 150cc matic motorcycle, we analyzed power and torque outputs using rollers of different masses (11g, 16g, and standard 15.5g). Field studies and literature reviews were conducted, employing tools like dynotests to measure performance at RPM ranges from 4,700 to 9,500. Results indicate that the 16g roller achieved the highest torque of 12.45 N/m at 6,800 RPM, while the 11g roller attained 12.09 N/m at 67,300 RPM. The standard 15.5g roller reached 12.07 N/m at 76,400 RPM.
