The intermittent nature of PLTS often destabilizes the network, causing frequency hunting or blackouts. Using Etap 12.6 software, simulations showed that adding BESS to hybrid PLTS-PLTD systems significantly mitigates these issues. For instance, a 50% drop in PLTS power without BESS required a 55% increase in PLTD power, but with BESS, this increase was only 34%. Thus, BESS is crucial for stabilizing renewable energy integration and supporting Indonesia’s Net-Zero Emissions goal. \u0000Highlights: \u0000 \u0000 \u0000BESS Stabilizes Power: Reduces impact of PLTS power fluctuations on PLTD. \u0000Simulation Insight: 50% PLTS drop increases PLTD by 34% with BESS. \u0000Net-Zero Goal: BESS supports Indonesia’s renewable energy and emission targets. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Keywords: Renewable Energy, Solar Power, Battery Storage, Electrical Grid Stability, Indonesia

This research delves into the conceptualization and component development aimed at aiding automotive mechanics in crafting steering systems for FSAE race cars. Employing Solid Edge 2021 software, the study utilizes the Design of Assembly (DFA) analysis method to streamline the mechanical process. Through DFA analysis, the study assesses various Technical Attributes (TAs) of the steering system, revealing values ranging from 0.548 to 1.765. The ideal steering system ensures that the desired steering input by the driver aligns with the output motion of the vehicle, known as the Ackerman condition. Steering gear mechanisms translate rotational motion into translation and adjust the effort applied to the steering linkage. The study's findings contribute to the advancement of steering system design in FSAE vehicles, emphasizing ergonomic considerations and the utilization of advanced software tools like Catia and Solid Edge 2021 for enhanced performance and safety. \u0000Highlight: \u0000 \u0000FSAE steering: DFA analysis enhances design efficiency for racing vehicles. \u0000Software aid: Solid Edge 2021 streamlines FSAE steering system development. \u0000Ergonomic focus: Design prioritizes driver comfort and vehicle performance optimization. \u0000 \u0000Keywoard: FSAE vehicles, Steering system design, DFA analysis, Solid Edge 2021, Ergonomics
