C-reactive protein (CRP) is an inflammatory marker meanwhile albumin is an indicator of nutritional deficiencies in ovarian cancer. This study is a diagnostic test for ovarian cancer in women aged >18 years and without previous history of ovarian cancer who underwent laparotomy or laparoscopy at Prof. Ngoerah General Hospital, Denpasar. Samples were taken by consecutive sampling. CRP examination was carried out in the laboratory by immunoturbidimetry method using the CRP Latex Kit (Roche) and measured using a Cobas integra 501 at a wavelength of 552 nm. The gold standard to diagnosed ovarian cancer was according to histopathological examination. A total of 69 women with ovarian tumors were recruited into the study which consisted of 40 ovarian cancers and 29 benign ovarian tumors. A significantly higher median CRP/Albumin ratio was found in ovarian cancer patients compared to benign ovarian tumors (6.9 vs 0.45; p=0.001). The optimal CRP/albumin ratio cut-off value was 1.34. The diagnostic capability of the CRP/Albumin ratio was found to be the best in diagnosing cancer at an advanced stage with a sensitivity of 86.9%, specificity of 68.9%, PPV of 68.9%, NPV of 86.9%, accuracy of 76.9%, positive likelihood ratio 2.8 and negative likelihood ratio 0.2. Snakebites are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, especially in South and Southeast Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. The snakebite can be life-threatening if it has a neurotoxic, cytotoxic and hemotoxic effect. Complications from snakebite include hemodynamic disturbances and respiratory acidosis. International online databases (PubMed and Google Scholar) were used to search for articles in this systematic review. A total of 24 related research articles indexed by Scopus have been published in the last ten years. This research is a literature systematic review. Research sources were taken in the last 10 years from 2012 to 2022, taken from PubMed and Google Scholar. After exclusion, 24 articles and studies that met the exclusion and inclusion criteria were considered for systematic review. Of all the journals reviewed, there are many that explain snake bite associated with hemodynamic disturbances and respiratory acidosis. Snakebite is proven to provide long-term complications in the form of hemodynamic disturbances around the bite site. Another complication that has been proven to occur in snakeibite victims is cardiac shock, especially impaired cardiac return. Pathophysiology, symptoms, and diagnosis of snakebite in pediatric and adult patients are the same. The majority of journals discuss heart disorders and infections, necrosis of muscles and bones related to venomous snake bites. Hemodynamic disturbances and respiratory acidosis are complications that can occur in snakebite victims. There are similarities in symptoms and management of venomous snake bites in children and adults.","PeriodicalId":431769,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Health Sains","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133995296","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To reduce the risks, one can protect themselves by wearing appropriate clothing, avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight, especially Ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It is necessary to pay attention to the choice of clothing colors considering that each color actually absorbs sunlight with different abilities. Therefore it is very important for us to know the color selection of clothes to wear in reducing exposure to UV rays on our skin. The objective of this study is to determine the difference in the effect of clothing fabric color on UV ray absorption. The UV intensity data obtained is the intensity of UV that has passed through a cloth filter with a certain color and the intensity without a filter. Data collection was conducted with 10 different cloth color variations. The results will be compared between the UV intensity with various colored cloth filters and the intensity without a filter. It was found that different colors on fabric also affect the intensity of UV rays that are absorbed or transmitted. Relatively bright colors will cause a dominant amount of UV rays to pass through compared to dark-colored fabrics. The fabric colors that allow more UV radiation to pass through are those that are predominantly light, in this study, the colors Purple and White.","PeriodicalId":431769,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Health Sains","volume":"126 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128666824","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is because during pregnancy there is an increase in the amount of the hormones estrogen and progesterone so that the acidity in the mouth increases which can increase the risk of caries. This condition causes babies to be born with low weight (LBW) and premature due to lack of nutrition. Thus, to reduce the magnitude of the incidence of caries in pregnant women, a learning media is needed. The technology in education that is currently developing is augmented reality. To produce an augmented reality application model of E-Pregnant as an appropriate and effective educational media in improving the behavior of pregnant women towards the prevention of dental caries and decreasing the OHIS score. The type of research used is Research and Development and the research design used is Quasy experiment Pretest-Posttest group design. Variables in this study: Knowledge, attitudes, actions and OHIS scores carried out for 21 days by opening the application 3 times a week and uploading photos 2 times a day. The research subjects were in 2 groups: 24 interventions using an e-pregnant caries application and 24 controls using a pocket book. The Augmented Reality E-Pregnant Caries model is feasible as a media for dental caries prevention education with 90% expert validation results. The results of the unpaired test stated that the effective application of increasing knowledge (Δ3.58), attitude (Δ15.63), action (Δ5.75), and also reduced the OHIS score (Δ0.60) compared to the control group.
