Besides, uncertainties from distributed renewable energy resources may prevent conventional techniques to improve reliability of power grids. In previous research works, several strategies have been introduced to investigate risk and resiliency, and to find effective solutions to improve system reliability under such extreme events. In this paper, a critical review of these strategies is presented. Modelings of the HILP events are dis-cussed. While the conventional techniques are not able to capture the global maximum power (GMPP). Consequently, several optimization algorithms to track the GMPP have been presented. However, optimization methods are unable to distinguish uniform shading from PSCs. This paper presents a novel hybrid MPPT technique to address this drawback. An ANFIS method is proposed with a new partial shading detection approach to determine the maximum power if the system is subject to the uniform shading conditions (USCs) with the irradiance sensor being removed to reduce the cost. While a novel hybrid rat swarm optimization technique (MRSO) will implement only if partial shading occurs to avoid an unnecessary scan of the whole P-V curve during the USCs, which decreases the tracking time for USCs. The proposed approach was developed using MATLAB/SIMULINK, with a 0.05 seconds of sampling time. The simulation results revealed that the proposed method was successfully implemented, with an average tracking time of 0.375 s for uniform and PSCs with high efficiency. In a single stage system, the voltage source converter (VSC) is used for MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) operation of the PV array. It also maintains the DC-link voltage and converts the DC power produced by the PV array to the AC power to be supplied to the loads connected at PCC. The PSCs (Positive Sequence Components) of the unbalanced grid voltages are estimated for the evaluation of the unit templates. Moreover, it also provides the harmonics compensation of the load currents along with (UPF) unity power factor operation using multi-variable filter-based control algorithm. Thus, the distortion levels in the grid currents are decreased below 5%. During the grid failure, the system operates in standalone mode. A synchronization control is used for the smooth connection of the system to the grid during its availability and disconnection from the grid when it is unavailable. Incremental Conductance (IC) based MPPT techniques can largely improve the efficiency and output power of a PV system but it suffers from slow convergence speed and poor power quality. A Fuzzy Logic based algorithm can reduce these limitations through adaptive duty cycle and voltage steps that respond to the changing environmental conditions. This paper proposes a novel Fuzzy Logic based fast converging MPPT algorithm that divides the characteristics I-V curve into five regions of operation and assigns variable step-size duty cycles based on the distance of the operating point from the point of the maximum power. The further the distance, the larger the duty cycle and vice versa. In open winding motor drive, hybrid energy storage system can be integrated without using any DC-DC converters. Another important advantage of using open winding motor drive is reduction of voltage rating of the sources. The open- winding induction motor is fed by two voltage source inverters with isolated dc storage systems. By controlling the inverter output voltages, it is possible to control the motor output power and power flow between two storage devices simultaneously. An energy management system has been developed with three modes of operations, accelerating mode, cruising mode and braking mode depending upon driving condition. They are self-configuring networks that lack a fixed infrastructure structure, and routing is crucial to their operation. Rate control is a critical function of the data link layer, and rate control algorithms are responsible for optimizing performance by dynamically selecting rates depending on the conditions of the channel. In this paper, we proposed a cross-layer approach for optimizing the performance of MANETs. The framework consists of three stages: stage-1 focuses on data collection and pre-processing, followed by data quality improvement and feature extraction in stage-2, and the final stage-3 with model hyper-parameter tuning. The concept of model interpretation is added within the framework that helps to understand the learning behaviour of machine learning (ML) models. This makes the models' performance more explainable and is known as Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). For stage-1, the data is generated from a simulation of cyber-attacks in CIGRE low voltage microgrid network, which is then preprocessed. In stage-2, data is augmented using ensembled Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and Edited Nearest Neighbour (ENN) methods, followed by feature extraction using the Boruta python package. Finally, the hyper-parameters are tuned through a Tree-structured Parzen Estimator (TPE) algorithm. A time-series transformer model is also presented for cyber-attack detection. For reconfigurable RF front end circuitry for RF transceivers spiral inductors were preferred which were bulkier, fixed and used to cover large areas and were affected by parasitic losses, resistive losses, so with rising demands and rising technological advancement led to the discovery of on-chip filters based on emulation of inductors using active devices like op-amps, trans-resistance amplifiers, transconductance amplifiers. Various active filter topologies are studied and reviewed of years with regress efforts such as the switched capacitor topology, the active RC- filter topology, the MOSFET-C topology and Gm-C filter topology with their merits and applications specifically in wireless communication for radio frequencies.
