However, reports of this relationship are contradictory, and its impact is still a matter of controversy. For that reason, the current research determined the correlation between these three variables in a group of 56 female and 48 male Colombian students with an average age of 14.08 ± 0.89 years. A quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional study was carried out. The physical activity was evaluated using PAQ-A questionnaire. For physical fitness, six tests from the Euro fitness battery were used. The academic performance in Spanish, Math, Natural, and Social Sciences were obtained from the grades for the participants at the end of the academic year. Correlations were determined by multivariate multiple linear regression. The obtained results suggest that aerobic endurance test had effect in the studied variables, whereas the correlation of the other tested predictors did not show any meaningful statistical result. In fact, academic performance is not affected by the physical fitness of the students at the time course grades were measured.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72923797","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The application of Flipped Learning (FL), which includes a technology component, in physical education will enable us to better understand the reflections of the approach on the lesson. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the FL on students’ knowledge, motivation and skill development in physical education. A pretest-posttest matched control group design was used. The participants, whose mean age is 14.5±1.0, consists of 62 high school students who have just started their school, including 32 experimental (11 boys, 21 girls), 30 control (10 boys, 20 girls ). The FL, which was used in physical education, increased students' knowledge (Z= -4.18, p= .00) and motivation (Wilks' λ= .16, F(1, 60)= 55.60, p= .00, η2= .83) , according to the findings . It only had an impact on the passing technical skill of the volleyball, which was utilized to assess skill development (M= 3.00, Sd= 1.07; p< .05) . As a result, this study offers some evidence that the FL is an important factor affecting students' volleyball content knowledge in physical education and can help to motivate them to participate the lesson. Further studies are needed to test the effect of the FL on skill development in physical education.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81913876","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ante esta situación totalmente inédita en la historia de nuestro sistema educativo mediante esta investigación se ha indagado y descrito el impacto del periodo de confinamiento en el currículo escolar de educación física en Educación Primaria (EP) y Educación Secundaria obligatoria (ES). El instrumento utilizado ha sido un cuestionario realizado en Google Forms mediante la técnica Delphi. La muestra está́ compuesta por 100 docentes de las etapas de Educación Primaria y Educación Secundaria en España, en concreto en la comunidad autónoma Andaluza. Entre las principales conclusiones destacamos que el profesorado ha considerado que los objetivos de salud y los de condición física, fueron los objetivos más trabajados del área. Los docentes consideran que no se consiguieron llevar a cabo los tiempos motrices establecidos, ni la programación, pero si se consiguió que el alumnado realizara una tarea semanal con una implicación de aproximadamente una hora. Se concluyo que el impacto en el aprendizaje fue grande pues no se consiguieron trabajar todos los contenidos y las tareas planteadas no eran evaluables.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88384723","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the impact of summer break on body composition in athlete children has not been thoroughly investigated. The current study was aimed at identifying possible changes in body composition and respiratory muscle strength after an 8-week summer break in age-group swimmers. Eighteen girls and fifteen boys ages 10-13 years (mean 11.6±1.0) participated in the study. The measurements were taken in June and repeated in September the same year. Body composition was assessed with an InBody 720 analyzer, and respiratory muscle strength was assessed with a MicroRPM device. A fifty-meter front-crawl test was conducted to induce respiratory muscle fatigue. All analyzed body composition parameters; i.e., body mass, body mass index, tissue, and muscle components increased substantially after the summer break (p<0.05). No significant changes in maximum inspiratory pressure (MIP) and maximum expiratory pressure (MEP) were detected in both boys and girls after the detraining period (p>0.05). It can be concluded that 8-week summer break had an effect on body composition parameters in juvenile swimmers, but no effect on their respiratory muscle strength was apparent. Studies involving a greater number of participants engaged in various sports activities are needed to better understand the effect of summer break on anthropomorphic and respiratory parameters in youth athletes. El objetivo principal de esta investigación analizar las publicaciones que investigaron la percepción del alumnado y profesorado en la educación física sobre la escuela inclusiva en el contexto español. Se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática, donde se empleó la declaración de PRISMA para analizar la inclusión percepción del profesorado y del alumnado en la Ed. Fís en la literatura científica española. Los resultados más relevantes muestran que las clases de Ed. Fís son un escenario idóneo para el desarrollo de la inclusión educativa, siendo esto percibido tanto por el profesorado como el alumnado, quienes además refuerzan que se adaptan de manera adecuada cuando se adaptan los contenidos en las clases. Por último, las investigaciones muestran que el docente tiene un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de las clases, debiendo ser capaz de integrar, siendo su formación en materia de inclusión un aspecto a mejorar.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80890069","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar las habilidades psicológicas en una muestra de deportistas escolares y juveniles de ambos sexos y diferentes deportes de la provincia de Villa Clara, Cuba. Se desarrolló un estudio descriptivo transversal en el que participaron 87 jóvenes deportistas, donde el 62.1% (n=54) eran mujeres y el 33% (n=33) hombres, con una edad cronológica promedio de 14.75 años (DT=1.74) y una experiencia deportiva de 4.67 (DT=1.90). Fue aplicado el Inventario Psicológico de Ejecución Deportiva para la medición de las habilidades psicológicas, cuyos datos fueron procesados mediante estadísticos descriptivos e inferenciales. Se obtuvo que la autoconfianza, la motivación, el control de afrontamiento positivo y de la actitud constituyen los puntos fuertes, mientras que el control de afrontamiento negativo, de la atención y visuoimaginativo son las habilidades de menor desarrollo. Solamente el control de afrontamiento positivo es significativamente mayor en los deportistas masculinos y los beisbolistas poseen una preparación psicológica superior al resto de los deportistas analizados. Se concluye destacando la necesidad de estimular el control de las emociones negativas, la atención y las imágenes mentales en los jóvenes deportistas analizados, así como la relevancia del trabajo psicológico especializado en la preparación de los jóvenes deportistas. Como práctica en sus diferentes estilos, ofrece la capacidad de adaptarse a las necesidades de la población y a diferentes situaciones sociales. La afirmación de ser una actividad con múltiples beneficios para la salud integral lleva a considerar la necesidad de revisar hoy la documentación existente. Los objetivos del estudio son averiguar las aportaciones de la literatura encontrada en los últimos años en relación con los beneficios de la práctica de danza en personas de cualquier edad ausentes de enfermedad, delimitar si esta actividad es apropiada para la salud integral en cualquier etapa natural de la vida y conocer los beneficios concretos de esta práctica. Se realiza una revisión de alcance de documentos publicados entre el 2012 y el 2022 incluídos, utilizando el software Atlas Ti 8 para el análisis cualitativo. Se constata un incremento de publicaciones que integran la danza como herramienta para desarrollar beneficios saludables, generando beneficios psicológicos y mentales en niños; físicos, mentales y sociales en adolescentes y jóvenes; físicos, psicológicos y emocionales en adultos y en la vejez físicos, emocionales y sociales. Se concluye que la práctica de danza mejora diferentes aspectos de la salud integral en todas las etapas de vida.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89115270","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Este acontecimiento, puede ser origen de enfermedades no transmisibles (ENT). El incremento del tiempo destinado al uso de dispositivos con pantalla se produce en detrimento del tiempo dedicado a la práctica de actividad física. Es por ello por lo que desde el área de Educación Física se adquiere la responsabilidad de promover la práctica de actividad física y una mejora en los hábitos alimentarios del alumnado. Esta investigación cuasiexperimental es una intervención con un grupo experimental y su posterior análisis de resultados con los obtenidos por un grupo de control. El objetivo del estudio es comprobar si existen diferencias en la condición física y valores antropométricos en alumnado de 11 y 12 años tras un plan de intervención en la escuela sobre sus hábitos saludables. Para ello, se utiliza la Batería de pruebas Alpha Fitness y un control de comidas diarias. One of these is the differential learning approach, it is important the repetitions vary in the differential learning approach and that the attention is given to the basis of the technique rather than the perfect execution of the move. Examining the literature, no study has been found which investigates the outcomes of the taekwondo training program applied with a differential learning approach despite the fact that other branches have supported the positive contribution of the differential learning approach in the literature. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of differential learning on the technical skill development of male and female taekwondo players with red-black belts in the 12-14 age group. A total of 16 taekwondo players, who have a red-black belt in the 12-14 age group star category and have a license of at least three years, participated in the research. In this quantitative research, the pre-test and post-test study group models (within quasi-experimental design) was used. Wilcoxon Test was used to examine the pre-test and post-test between the test values of taekwondo players. When the findings were examined, the differential learning approach has a positive effect on the technical skill development of the female and male taekwondo athletes.","PeriodicalId":43140,"journal":{"name":"Sportis-Scientific Technical Journal of School Sport Physical Education and Psychomotricity","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.7,"publicationDate":"2023-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74298601","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
