The training of highly qualified interdisciplinary Russian specialists in the trade and economic field, which meets modern needs and is consistent with China's “The One Belt, One Way” strategy, is a responsible mission entrusted to us by a new era. In combination with the professional requirements for Russian scholars in the context of the international project “The One Belt, One Way” and the current results of research in the field of teaching Russian as a foreign language in China, the article attempts to put forward some proposals for the preparation of interdisciplinary Russian scholars in the trade and economic field, stimulating the reform of teaching Russian as a foreign language. In addition to focusing on the creation of professional basic courses, further enrichment and strengthening of optional professional courses is also required, in particular, the development of unique professional courses. The “National Standard” advocates that, through a variety of practical activities, such as professional internships, social practices and international exchanges, effectively improve students' language skills and future employment opportunities. In conditions of high competition, it is not enough to have only a professional diploma of a teacher of a foreign language, it is necessary to have additional knowledge in the field of economics, trade or management.
