Based on the ITU recommendation and definitions, the paper summarizes the general communication requirements for ICT networks and confronts them with the requirements set out in the standards for specific types of industrial and control network implementations such as electrical power industry, water industry, transport industry, etc. The paper provides qualitative parameters, which aim to characterize the transmission characteristics of IP protocol based on confrontation of the communication requirements. It is necessary to define general data streams that are typical for industrial and control networks and measurement scenarios for measuring these transmission characteristics. There are available technologies to improve the material surface - with use of different (galvanize, plate, etc.) technologies. The paper deals with woven textiles - compound of cotton, polyester and conductive fibers. The paper presents the impact of electromagnetic field on special woven textile materials and describes the shielding principles. The measurement technique used at FEL CTU in Prague is also described and the base measuring technologies are discussed. Nevertheless, the major part of the paper is dedicated to experience of authors with numerical (FE) modeling of shielding textiles and to description of designed and used methodology of FE model evaluation. Four different realistic system mathematical models of the second order were used to create different state spaces of the agents' positions. All the experiments were evaluated in wide and narrow intervals around the fitness function global minimum with two different PSO method initial agents' setup. Even already each individual of the above mentioned stresses can be fatal for the electric machine insulation they generally act simultaneously making even worse deterioration process and so faster ageing of insulation. In automotive applications, the electrical machines are designed to be smaller and lighter, with increased torque and power to volume ratio and in the same time these machines are often short-term overloaded during driving cycle. The aim of the paper is to estimate the impacts of these short-term over loadings (TEAM stresses) on insulation aging and on electrical machine life time period. After a brief review of the four most influential stresses in automotive environment we propose a method for an accelerated multi-factor stress insulation testing.
